Способ экстракции хрома III из водного раствора, включающий контакт экстрагента и раствора при рН 4 - 8, перемешивание смеси, отстаивание и разделение фаз, отличающийся тем, что в качестве экстрагента используют техническую смазку, в своем составе имеющую инертный разбавитель, при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:
Олеиновая кислота - 10 - 12
Триэтаноламин - 4,5 - 6,0
Машинное масло (инертный разбавитель) - Остальное
а экстракцию осуществляют при регулировании рН в течение 1 - 2 ч и/или при кипячении в течение 1 - 5 мин с последующим регулированием рН до заданного значения.
