Claims (4)

1) the plastic composition when it is transferred into the cavity of the mold has a temperature that is higher than the decomposition temperature of the blowing agent in combination with optional additives for regulating decomposition,
2) the plastic composition is transferred into the closed cavity of the mold between the point in time when the composition has reached a temperature sufficient to decompose the blowing agent in the plastic composition and the point in time when the decomposition begins,
3) the closed cavity of the mold is completely filled with a plastic composition, and the temperature of the plastic composition in the cavity of the mold is maintained above the decomposition temperature of the pore-forming agent in the plastic composition until it reaches the desired degree of decomposition of the pore-forming agent, while the pressure in the cavity of the mold is maintained so high so that when decomposing a blowing agent, the plastic composition does not foam or foams to a small extent, and
4) upon reaching the desired degree of decomposition, the pressure in the closed cavity of the mold is reduced, allowing the plastic composition to foam.
