Abstract

FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes method of preparing chitosan-glucane complex at content of glucane and chitosan from 25 to 60% and deacetylation degree from 15 to 70%. Biomass of Aspergillus niger is treated with 2 N hydrochloric acid, then - with a mixture of reagents (detergent, weak alkali, ethanol) at 96 C for 35-45 min. Deacetylation is carried out with 20-25% alkali for 1-2 h at 100-110 C. Then the end product is washed off with alcohols to remove alkali at decreasing concentration and with water. EFFECT: accelerated and universal method.

Claims (1)

A method for producing a chitosan-glucan complex with a glucan and chitosan content of 25 to 60% and a deacetylation degree of 15 to 70% is described. The Aspergillus niger biomass is treated with 2N hydrochloric acid, followed by a mixture of reagents (detergent, weak alkali, ethanol) at 96 ° C for 35-45 minutes. Deacetylation is carried out with 20-25% alkali for 1-2 hours at a temperature of 100-110 o C. Next, the target product is washed from alkali with alcohols with lower concentrations and water. The proposed method for producing the chitosan-glucan complex is faster, more versatile and more environmentally friendly in comparison with analogues.
