Изобретение относится к способам очистки воды поверхностных водоисточников. Может быть использовано в области хозяйственно-питьевого или технического водоснабжения. Технический результат - оптимизация процесса агрегатирования взвеси в мутной воде для улучшения осаждения. Сущность: флокулянт вводят в трубопровод или в воду перед подачей ее в трубопровод, который используют для смешения флокулянта с водой и агрегатирования взвешенных веществ. При этом расстояние от точки ввода флокулянта до отстойников составляет 500 - 60000 м, градиент скорости в трубопроводе 68 - 346 с-1, время обработки 0,13 - 33 ч. При наличии на трубопроводе насосов для дополнительных подъемов воды флокулянт вводят перед одним из них. Достигаемый технический результат - оптимизируется процесс агрегатирования взвеси мутной воды и улучшается ее осаждение в отстойниках.The invention relates to methods for purifying water from surface water sources.
