Abstract

FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: tanning agent is prepared from titanium tetrachloride, for which the latter is mixed with 82-87% sulfuric acid followed by degassing and dissolution of the obtained sulfatization product in water to required concentration with regard to titanium and sulfate ions. The process is carried out in such a way as to leave 1-65% of sulfatization product to be all the time in nondissolved state. Further, solution is cooled under stirring and treated with solid ammonium sulfate to precipitate titanyl sulfate, which is crystallized, filtered off and properly processed. EFFECT: reduced process cost due to eliminated operations involving conversion of titanium tetrachloride into dry titanyl sulfate including evaporation and acid treatment. 2 tbl

Claims (1)

Использование: в области получения минерального дубителя из титансодержащего сырья, в частности из тетрахлорида титана. Цель: снижение себестоимости изготовления титанового дубителя без ухудшения его качества. Сущность изобретения: способ получения титанового дубителя для кож из тетрахлорида титана включает получение исходного раствора сульфата титанила путем смешивания тетрахлорида титана с 82 - 87 %-ной серной кислотой с последующей дегазацией и растворением образующегося продукта сульфатизации водой до требуемой концентрации по титан- и сульфат-ионам, причем процесс дегазации и растворения продукта ведут так, чтобы 1 - 65 % продукта сульфатизации постоянно оставалось в нерастворимом состоянии, перемешивание и охлаждение раствора, высаливание сульфатотитанила аммония путем введения в раствор твердого сульфата аммония, последующую кристаллизацию, фильтрацию суспензии и обработку осадка. Положительный эффект: снижение себестоимости изготовления титанового дубителя за счет исключения операций, связанных с получением из тетрахлорида титана сухого сульфата титанила (температурная отгонка и кислотная обработка продукта сульфатизации).Usage: in the field of obtaining a mineral tanning agent from titanium-containing raw materials, in particular from titanium tetrachloride. Positive effect: reduction in the cost of manufacturing a titanium tanning agent due to the exclusion of operations associated with obtaining dry titanyl sulfate from titanium tetrachloride (temperature distillation and acid treatment of the sulfatization product).
