Abstract

FIELD: electrolytic processes. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen is produced under elevated pressures by electrolysing aqueous solutions using as electrodes aluminium and its alloys. Method is distinguished with that electrolysis is conducted in diaphragmless electrolyzer without releasing oxygen on anode and with no pressure control. EFFECT: simplified process and increased output.

Claims (1)

Предлагается способ получения газообразного водорода при повышенных давлениях путем электролиза водных растворов, используя в качестве электродов алюминий и его сплавы. Способ отличается тем, что электролиз проводится в бездиафрагменном электролизере без выделения кислорода на аноде и без применения регулятора давления. Преимущества предлагаемого способа: простота, повышение производительности, возможность получения водорода при больших давлениях.A method for producing hydrogen gas at elevated pressures by electrolysis of aqueous solutions using aluminum and its alloys as electrodes is proposed. The method is characterized in that the electrolysis is carried out in a diaphragmless electrolyzer without oxygen evolution at the anode and without the use of a pressure regulator. The advantages of the proposed method: simplicity, increased productivity, the ability to produce hydrogen at high pressures.
