Abstract

FIELD: printing. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to encapsulated particles such as magnetic particles, coloring pigments or carbon black with high chemical affinity for binding substance of ink. Encapsulated particles are suitable for preparation of printing inks as well as for recording magnetic systems such as audio films and magnetic discs. Encapsulated particles include particles with coating on their surfaces formed from ionomer or oil such as soybean oil or mixture of ionomers with oil and thixotropic agent and/or binding resin. Process of manufacture of such encapsulated particles does not use volatile organic solvents and produces printing inks and compositions of coatings which also do not use volatile organic solvents. Inks can be formed easily without complex and expensive flashing by simple dispersing of encapsulated coloring pigments or carbon black in needed binding substance. EFFECT: expanded application field of invention.

Claims (1)
