Abstract
FIELD: mining; may be used in formation of fractures in holes with the aim of degassing coal and salt beds, separation of blocks from rock mass, mining of valuable crystalline raw material and building stone. SUBSTANCE: device has body with annular taper projection, central channel for intake of working fluid and radial holes for discharge of working fluid, hole for supply of working fluid and hole for discharge of working fluid. Screwed into end of the body is reducing bushing to which chamber with elliptical cross-section is attached and made of material possessing the effect of shape memory. Secured to chamber surface in the plane of its large axis of cross-section are wedges. Connected to chamber is tube passing through body along its axis and to pipe union screwed into hole. Fitted on the body is flexible tube pressed from one end to body by bushing with internal taper surface by means of nut, and with its other end, it adjoins the annular conical projection. The device having pipe union with gasket is installed in hole at the required depth and preset orientation. Supplied through the pipe union is high-viscosity working fluid to form directional fracture. EFFECT: higher efficiency of fracture formation due to simultaneous action on rock by wedges and hydraulic pressure. 4 cl, 3 dwg
