Abstract

FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: patient is subject to stimulation pulses which have periodically alternating polarity of output voltage at electrodes. Device permits to change polarity of output voltage at electrodes in comparison with a prototype. Stimulation time can be reduced four times and burn of patient's skin is excluded. EFFECT: improved efficiency of cure.

Claims (1)

Transcranial electrostimulator refers to medical equipment and can be used to treat various diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system of a person. The objective of the invention is to reduce the time of the stimulation process and the exclusion of a burn of the skin of the patient. The essence of the device is that the patient is affected by stimulation pulses with periodically changing polarity of the output voltage at the electrodes. New is that the inventive device allows you to automatically switch the polarity of the output voltage at the electrodes in comparison with the prototypes. This makes it possible to reduce almost four times the stimulation time, eliminate burns on the patient’s skin and increase the effectiveness of treatment by increasing the current strength in the electrodes.
