Изобретение относится к сельскому хозяйству, в частности к мелиорации, и может быть применено для автоматического регулирования уровня грунтовых вод на закрытых осушительно-увлажнительных системах. Целью изобретения является уменьшение величины гидростатического давления на запорный клапан при его открытии и повышение надежности устройства путем уменьшения попадания наносов на запорный клапан во время эксплуатации. С целью уменьшения гидростатического давления на запорный клапан при его открытии последний выполнен из двух частей, связанных с общим штоком и с поплавковым приводом, первая часть запорного клапана выполнена с направляющими, которые при работе позволяют направить поток воды на вторую часть запорного клапана и тем самым уменьшить гидростатическое давление.
