Abstract

FIELD: churns for usage in farms and milk plants. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical tank 1 defining churn casing with bearing-gland unit 5 and vertical shaft 4 positioned within this unit. Two propeller-type mixers 7 driven by electric flanged engine 6 are fixed on shaft 4. Engine 6 with continuously adjustable rotational speed is mounted on cover 2 of tank 1 with compacting device 3. Filling neck 13 with baffling shield 14 is mounted on cover 2. Churn has discharge branch pipe 16 and inspection window 15. Toroidal baffling swirlers 10 are positioned in front of propeller-type mixers 7 creating countercurrent flow of raw milk material due to rotation of blades in opposed direction. Baffling plates-beaters 9 are fixed along tank wall. Swirling narrow flows are formed behind beaters 9 by bladed mixer 8, which directs flows of liquid in horizontal plane through window of deflector 11. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation.

The purpose of the proposed invention is the creation of an intensive churn based on stationary vortex cords to obtain oil from any type of dairy raw materials: cream, sour cream, fresh and sour milk. New in the device is that in front of the propeller stirrers 7, creating a counter flow of milk raw materials, due to the rotation of their blades in different directions, toroidal deflector vortex generators 10 are located in which stationary vortex cords are formed. Another difference of the device is that to increase the efficiency of the oil churning process along the wall of the tank 1 in the vertical direction, reflective plates are installed - forces 9, behind which vortex cords are formed due to the blade mixer 8, which delivers a fluid flow in the horizontal direction through the window of the deflector 11.
