Abstract

FIELD: medicinal microbiology, gonorrhea diagnosis. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of technology for preparing dry nutrient medium using methods of spraying drying and elimination of native blood from composition. Nitrogen source is fish flour pancreatic hydrolyzate, enymatic lyzate of rabbit meat-bone stuffing, acid hydrolyzate of casein; growth stimulating agents and vitamins source are autolyzate of baker's and beer yeast, growth stimulating agent of hemophilic microorganisms, and also - glucose, sodium chloride, polymyxin B sulfate, lyncomycin hydrochloride. Proposed nutrient medium provides the growth of gonococcus from the museum strains and from patients with gonorrhea and can be used for diagnosis and treatment of venereal diseases. EFFECT: new medium indicated above, enhanced effectiveness of medium.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medical microbiology, in particular to the diagnosis of gonorrhea. The aim of the invention is to create a new environment for the isolation and cultivation of gonococcus. This is achieved by creating a formulation and technology for preparing a dry nutrient medium using spray drying methods of components and exclusion of native blood from the medium. As a source of nitrogen in the medium, pancreatic hydrolyzate of fish meal, fermentolysate of meat and bone meat of rabbits, acid hydrolyzate of casein as a growth promoter and a source of vitamins are used - baker's or brewer's yeast autolysate, growth stimulator of hemophilic microorganisms, as well as glucose, sodium chloride, agar, polymyxin-B sulfate, lincomycin hydrochloride. The proposed nutrient medium ensures the growth of gonococcus of museum strains and from material from patients with gonorrhea, preserving the typical morphology of the microorganism, which contributes to widespread use in practical health care in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.
