After that ingot had been cut to measured blanks to be cooled up to temperature of environment, blanks are being cut along their lengthwise axis by rectangular bar blanks with ratio of their sides 1.0:(2.5-3.5). These rectangular bar blanks are being heated up to 1240-1320 C to be deformed with total reduction degree 65-80%. Then the blanks are being subjected to secondary heating up to 1180-1240 C and to final deformation with total reduction degree 70-95% up to making square cross section bar. Технический результат изобретения заключается в расширении технологических возможностей установок непрерывной разливки металла, возможности использования слябовых кристаллизаторов для изготовления квадратных сортовых заготовок, увеличении производительности процесса непрерывного литья с одновременным повышением качества получаемых заготовок. Способ производства квадратных сортовых заготовок включает выплавку металла, его обработку в ковше, подачу металла в промежуточное устройство и далее в кристаллизатор, формирование, охлаждение и вытягивание слитка, его порезку на мерные заготовки, охлаждение заготовок до температуры окружающей среды, и последующую деформацию, при этом в кристаллизатор подают металл определенного химического состава, отливают непрерывнолитой слиток прямоугольного поперечного сечения с соотношением строн 1,0:(5,0-7,0), после порезки слитка на мерные заготовки и их охлаждения до температуры окружающей среды производят порезку заготовок вдоль их продольной оси на прямоугольные заготовки с соотношением сторон 1,0:(2,5-3,5), проводят их нагрев до 1240-1320°С и деформацию с суммарной степенью обжатия 65-80%, а затем производят повторный нагрев до 1180-1240°C и окончательную деформацию с суммарной степенью обжатия 70-95% до получения квадратной сортовой заготовки.The invention relates to the field of metallurgy, and more particularly to the production of square billets by continuous casting of metal.
