Abstract

FIELD: electronic engineering; mounting electronic components, such as chips, on printed-circuit boards. SUBSTANCE: device has base 2 mounting double-line satellite transport system 3 for discrete displacement of printed-circuit boards secured on satellites 5 which are arranged on guides in two chains in vertical plane for opposing displacement by mechanism 4; it also has mechanism 6 for lifting satellite from lower chain to upper one with aid of elevator in loading position of printed- circuit boards, mechanism 7 for moving satellite 5 down from upper chain to lower one by means of elevator in unloading position of printed- circuit boards, mechanism 8 for discrete vertical displacement of units 10 with magazines 9 whose horizontal channels accommodate components 63; units 10 are installed in pairs against each other on either side of guide; units 11 for mounting components onto printed-circuit boards are inserted between them above upper chain of satellites 5 and they are provided with channels which are extensions of channels in magazines 9 and with vacuum grips, as many as there are magazines where to components are transferred by means of slide bars of units 12 from mentioned channels for their mounting on respective place of printed-circuit board through vertical channels with guide surfaces on case of units 11 at end of channels 66 under vacuum grips. Printed- circuit board is installed onto locating members of satellite 5 located in upper chain, and the entire chain is compressed to stop thereby providing for precision positioning of printed-circuit boards on site. Slide bars function to displace a number of components in channels until last of components in the row is stopped by guide surface of vertical channel; component is caught by vacuum grip. Then the latter and component caught by it are passed over vertical channel and vacuum grip presses component to desired point on printed-circuit board whereupon it returns to initial position. Finished board is removed from the last satellite 5 of upper chain in unloading position, device holding this satellite chain tight against stop is taken off, elevator conveys empty satellite to lower chain 16. Mechanism 4 displaces both satellite chain through one step equal to satellite length. Then elevator 28 moves satellite from lower chain to upper one at loading position, and the entire cycle is resumed. Upon taking all components out horizontal channels of magazines in one rod of mechanisms 8, units 10 of changeable magazines go up through one step equal to distance between channels in vertical plane, and the entire cycle is resumed. Upon taking all components out of all rows, empty magazines 9 are replaced by filled ones, and units 10 of changeable magazines are moved down by mechanism 8 until channels of first horizontal row in all magazines are aligned with channels in units 11 of printed-circuit board wiring.
