Abstract

FIELD: medicine; medical equipment; applicable in endoprosthetics of femur proximal end in cases of various kinds of injury. SUBSTANCE: endoprosthesis-implant of femur proximal part is made in form of club with flexible shaft. The shaft may be made in form of solid flexible rod, bundle of flexible rods, and distal surface of club ball part facing the shaft is channeled or provided with pins. Club shaft may be made of metal possessing the effect of shape memory and ability to intergrow with bone tissue. EFFECT: provision of endoprosthesis which ensures reduction of the pressure of its leg on the walls of the medullar channel by transferring the functional loads to the extremity with the structure member directly onto the bone tissue of the bone with prosthesis.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical equipment and can be used for endoprosthetics of the proximal end of the thigh in cases of various types of lesions. The objective of the present invention is to develop an endoprosthesis that provides pressure reduction of its legs on the walls of the bone marrow canal by transferring functional loads to the limb with the structural element directly on the bone tissue of the prosthetic bone. The endoprosthesis-implant is made in the form of a club with a flexible handle. It is provided that the handle can be made in the form of an integral flexible rod, a bundle of flexible rods, and the distal facing the handle, the surface of the spherical part of the club is made corrugated or provided with spikes. At the same time, it is understood that the club handle can be made of metal having a shape memory effect and the ability to sprout bone tissue.
