Целью изобретения является увеличение производительности, снижение капиталовложений, улучшение экологической обстановки при электролизе щелочно-карбонатного расплава. В расплаве растворяют оксид кадмия в количестве 2 - 6% и процесс ведут при катодной плотности тока 0,2 - 1,5 А/см2, анодной плотности 0,25 - 1,9 А/см2. Индиферентный анод и жидкий или индиферентный твердый катод с межполюсным расстоянием 2 - 5 см.The invention relates to the field of non-ferrous metallurgy.
