Abstract

FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: standard undercarriage retracted rearward is complex and unsafe, since wedging is likely to occur resulting in accidents. Telescopic hydraulic jack used as strut of four-wheel bogie type undercarriage was a leap forward in construction of undercarriage. But this construction requires many heavily stressed lines and rods and is also unsafe. Besides that, many steel ropes and other expensive materials are required. Proposed telescopic hydraulic jack is provided with cylinder having partition dividing it into two equal parts. Pistons travelling inside them are connected paracentrally with members of bogie-type four-wheel undercarriage by means of hinges. Gyroscopic fluid is contained above and under pistons. This liquid is pumped from top to bottom and vice versa in semi-cylinders by means of special compressors. Variety of motion of truss with wheels may be obtained by sending the respective commands to compressors. EFFECT: simplified construction, low cost and enhanced reliability.
