Abstract
FIELD: medicine; surgery; medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: stapling is performed by a pusher moving along the rows of staples perpendicular with the direction of their pushing out. The staple legs are bent so that they are in recesses provided in the staple body, and jumpers between the legs are located in the lower longitudinal recesses and inclined recesses provided in the pusher on its side surfaces. As the pusher moves along the rows of staples, the jumpers are transferred from the lower longitudinal recesses into the inclined recesses to force out the staples toward a matrix for bending. EFFECT: smaller dimensions of working part; higher stapling quality.
