Высокая концентрация ароматического соединения способствует снижению адиабатического разогрева, повышению селективности реакции и увеличению производительности катализатора. Это позволяет также обеспечить полное превращение закиси азота, исключая таким образом стадию ее выделения.The invention relates to the field of organic synthesis, more specifically to a method for producing phenol and its derivatives by means of partial catalytic oxidation of benzene and its derivatives with nitrous oxide

The present invention solves the problem of simplifying the process and increasing its efficiency. To solve this problem, the process of catalytic oxidation of aromatic compounds is carried out at a temperature of 250 - 500 ° C in an excess of the oxidized substance, which simultaneously plays the role of a component that increases the heat capacity of the reaction mixture. A high concentration of aromatic compounds reduces adiabatic heating, increases the selectivity of the reaction and increases catalyst productivity. It also allows for the complete conversion of nitrous oxide, thus eliminating the stage of its release.
