The invention relates to vacuum technology, in particular the production of fluorescent screens for electron-optical converters. The invention is aimed at improving the quality of the cathodoluminescent screen by increasing the resistance of the conductive layer of aluminum to temperature effects in high vacuum. The proposed method of manufacturing a cathodoluminescent screen includes applying a phosphor layer to the substrate, fixing the phosphor layer, applying an organic film, heating the organic film in a vacuum, applying a conductive aluminum layer, burning off the organic film. New is the fact that the conductive layer of aluminum is applied in an argon atmosphere at a pressure in the chamber (7.0 o C 9.0) 10 - 6 mm Hg. Art. using a magnetron sputtering method on a screen with an applied organic film preheated to a temperature of (170 o C 180) ° C.
