Способ относится к энергетике и может быть использован на ТЭС для получения из низкосортного энергетического угля высококачественного синтез-газа, состоящего из оксида углерода и водорода. Для повышения эффективности процесса в качестве газифицирующего агента используют дымовые газы, причем разделенные потоки смеси угля и дымовых газов подают равномерно по сечению камеры реактора, для чего в каждом из сечений поддерживают постоянным отношение расхода смеси угля и дымовых газов к площади сечения, а также тормозят стекание расплава по стенке реактора. В плазменном реакторе для осуществления способа патрубки 4 для ввода реагентов выполнены в виде размещенных на крышке реактора концентрических каналов-сечений, причем каждый канал снабжен вертикальной трубкой 5 для ввода угля и тангенциальным патрубком 6 для подачи дымовых газов, а на стенке 7 реактора выполнен кольцевой паз 8, равный высоте электромагнитной катушки 2. 2 с. п. ф-лы, 1 ил.
