Abstract

FIELD: medicine; vascular surgery. SUBSTANCE: method involves sequential isolation of the main artery above the occlusion site in the non-affected segment and the beginning of the head vein at the wrist joint on the lateral surface, then the head vein part is mobilized in the prospective proximal anastomosis area and divided. The proximal end of the vein is ligated, and the distal part is moved towards the isolated artery for end-to-side anastomosis. The valves are destroyed in the main trunk and beginning of the vein, and large branches of the vein are ligated. EFFECT: higher treatment efficacy.

Claims (1)

A method of treating critical ischemia of the upper extremities relates to medicine, in particular to vascular surgery. The use of known methods for the treatment of critical ischemia of the upper extremities in patients with occlusion of the arteries of the hand and forearm is technically impossible due to the lack of "outflow paths". The invention allows to reduce the number of unsatisfactory results in the treatment of patients with critical upper limb ischemia. In this case, the main artery is sequentially isolated above the occlusion site in the unaffected segment and the sources of the head vein are at the level of the wrist joint along the lateral surface, then the portion of the head vein in the area of the proposed proximal anastomosis is mobilized and it is crossed, the proximal end of the vein is ligated, and the distal section is moved to the selected artery and impose an anastomosis of the type "end to side", then produce the destruction of the valves in the main trunk and at the head of the head vein, and large communicative vi cephalic vein are tied off.
