В процессе эксплуатации в атмосферных условиях, особенно в морских, на нержавеющих сталях образуются продукты коррозии. Более интенсивно таким процессам подвергаются нержавеющие стали, содержащие менее 15% хрома, например 13Х11Н2БМФ, 40Х13. Для удаления продуктов коррозии с целью прекращения дальнейшего процесса, восстановления товарного вида изделия и подготовки поверхности под нанесение лакокрасочного покрытия предлагается паста следующего состава: г/кг: ортофосфорная кислота - 200-300, щавелевая кислота - 5-10, ПАВ-1-6, оксид кремния - 40-75, вода - остальное. В пасту для обработки нержавеющих сталей, содержащих ≤13% хрома, дополнительно вводится ингибитор из числа катапинов в количестве 5-10 г/кг.During operation in atmospheric conditions, especially in the sea, corrosion products are formed on stainless steels.
