Изобретение относится к машиностроению, в частности к двигателестроению, а именно к способам работы двигателей внутреннего сгорания (ДВС) по замкнутому циклу (ЗЦ). Предлагаемый способ работы ДВС по ЗЦ позволяет повысить эффективность работы за счет одновременной очистки отработанной смеси от продуктов сгорания путем контакта с щелочноземельным металлом и жидким углеводородным топливом с поглощением выделяющейся теплоты. Предлагаемый способ может быть реализован в установке, включающей в себя ДВС, реактор-регенератор, теплообменник, смеситель, топливный насос, топливный бак, бак запаса щелочноземельного металла и емкость-накопитель твердой фазы.The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to engine construction, and in particular to methods of operation of internal combustion engines (ICE) in a closed loop (SC).
