It was established that the standard, basic drug treatment of gastric ulcer in the acute stage, including cholinolytics, absorbable and nonabsorbable antacids, sedatives, vitamins, diet therapy and regimen, provides the rate of ulcer repair in the middle third of the stomach, equal to: V с т = (0, 0360 ± 0.0015) cm 2 / day. The proposed method of evaluating the effectiveness of the use of the drug for the treatment of gastric ulcer disease with an acute drug in the acute stage consists in the selection of a group (n ≥ 30) of patients with gastric ulcer with localization in the middle third of the stomach. Assign this group a new drug and calculate the speed of reparation (V p ) as the ratio of the initial area (S с ) of the ulcerative defect to the average scarring time (t с ): V п = S с / t с . If V p> V m with, the effectiveness of the drug being evaluated good. In this case, the stronger the inequality: V p > V c t , the higher the efficiency. And if V p ≤ V c t , then the effectiveness of the evaluated drug is considered low or doubtful.
