Изобретение относится к черной металлургии, в частности к производству новых шихтовых материалов для сталеплавильного производства. В способе получения полуфабриката для металлургического передела, включающем заливку жидким металлом предварительно загруженных в мульду материалов, имеющих плотность ниже плотности чугуна, последующее их охлаждение, через 1 - 60 секунд после окончательной заливки чугуна на материал в мульде дополнительно воздействуют усилием величиной 100 - 10000Н/м<M^>2<D>. Разливочная машина для осуществления указанного выше способа, содержащее заливочное устройство, раму, конвейер с установленными не нем мульдами, бункер с питателем для подачи твердых наполнителей, снабжена форсунками, соединенными с трубопроводом для подачи охлаждающей среды и прижимным устройством, выполненным в виде кронштейна с полым роликом и утяжелителем, установленным на кронштейне с возможностью перемещения вдоль его продольной оси, при этом кронштейн одним концом шарнирно установлен в опорах на раме, а другим посредством установленного на оси с возможностью вращения ролика опирается на мульду, длина полого ролика равна (0,8 - 0,95) рабочей длины мульды, а внешний диаметр ролика равен (1,1 - 1,4) ширины мульды, форсунки же установлены вблизи ролика и ориентированы в направлении к его боковой поверхности.
