Целью изобретения является повышение механического КПД двигателя путем уменьшения количества подвижных соединений, а также упрощение конструкции двигателя. Поршневой двигатель содержит корпус круглой цилиндрической формы, образующий с валом несколько полостей некруглой цилиндрической формы, в которых размещены поршни с шатунами, косую шайбу, подвижную шайбу. Подвижная шайба выполнена в виде нескольких (по числу поршней) ползунов, которые размещены в кольцевой канавке круглой формы, выполненной на наклонной поверхности косой шайбы. Каждый ползун соединен с шатуном при помощи шарнирного соединения с одной степенью свободы, например, в виде цилиндрической цапфы шатуна, контактирующей с цилиндрической поверхностью ползуна. The center of the circle relating to the axles of the connecting rods coincides with the axis of the shaft. The axle of the connecting rod is parallel to the plane of the groove and perpendicular to its radius.
