Сущность способа состоит в том, что в организм лабораторного животного подкожно вводят иммунодепрессант, в качестве которого используют трикорд-40 в дозе 2-4 мг/кг. На фоне развивающейся супрессии в организм животного дополнительно вводят внутрибрюшинно однократно возбудитель висцерального лейшманиоза. Способ позволяет воспроизвести экспериментальную инфекцию, максимально приближенную к таковой у больных СПИДом, сокращает срок создания модели, удешевляет стоимость экспериментальной модели за счет уменьшения курсовой дозы иммунодепрессанта, продолжительности его введения, сокращает затраты на содержание животных и специальную диету, позволяет проводить более быстрый и адекватный по отношению к инфекции у человека скрининг противопневмоцистозных препаратов и обеспечивает возможность одновременного скрининга на одной модели противопневмоцистозных и противолейшманиозных препаратов.The method relates to experimental medicine, namely to infectiology and parasitology.
