Предлагаемый способ относится к области испытаний машин и механизмов и предназначен для определения необходимого для их работы крутящего момента (насосы, электрогенераторы, агрегаты ДВС, трансмиссии, лебедки и пр.). Для повышения точности определения крутящего момента потребителя в предлагаемом способе используют двигатель, имеющий моментную скоростную характеристику с экстремумом, например, ДВС, и тормоз с регулируемым тормозным моментом, а также динамометр для измерения тормозного момента и тахометр для измерения частоты вращения двигателя. Двигатель соединяют с тормозом и определяют при работающем с фиксированным органом управления мощностью двигателя вначале без потребителя максимальный тормозной момент и соответствующую ему частоту вращения, затем подключают к двигателю потребитель и выбирают тормозной момент, необходимый для поддержания первоначальной частоты вращения, а измеряемый момент потребителя определяют как разность тормозных моментов в первом и втором случаях.The proposed method relates to the field of testing machines and mechanisms and is designed to determine the necessary torque for their work (pumps, electric generators, internal combustion engines, transmissions, winches, etc.).
