Изобретение позволяет исключить из способа получения сложных эфиров целлюлозы использование метиленхлорида и снизить модуль при активации, ацетилировании и гидролизе за счет того, что в способе получения сложных эфиров целлюлозы активацию целлюлозы уксусной кислоты ведут при модуле 0,1 - 3,5, последующую обработку активированной целлюлозы ацилирующими смесями осуществляют при модуле 3 - 7, ацелирующие смеси содержат ангидриды кислот, уксусную, и/или пропионовую, или масляную кислоты и аддукты серной или серной и хлорной кислот с N,N-диметилацетамидом, образованные из 0,67 - 0,97 моль N,N-диметилацетамида и 1 моль серной кислоты в количестве, соответствующем 1,5 - 7,0% серной кислоты от массы целлюлозы, или 1,1 - 1,2 моль N,N-диметилацетамида и 1 моль серной кислоты в количестве, соответствующем 7 - 20% серной кислоты от массы целлюлозы, или смеси 2,10 моль N,N-диметилацетамида, 1 моль серной кислоты и 1 моль хлорной кислоты в количестве 10 - 20% серной и 5 - 10% хлорной кислот от массы целлюлозы. После ацетилирования осуществляют гидролиз, нейтрализацию катализатора, высаждение, промывку и сушку продукта. After acetylation, hydrolysis, catalyst neutralization, precipitation, washing, and drying of the product are carried out. Hydrolysis is carried out in 2 stages with a module of 2.4 - 5.0.
