Изобретение относится к металлургии, конкретнее к установкам непрерывной разливки металлов, снабженным в зоне вторичного охлаждения разрезными роликами с промежуточными опорами. Технический эффект от использования изобретения заключается в повышении точности определения границ дефектных участков слитков и сокращении потерь металла. Указанный технический эффект достигается тем, что устройство для непрерывной разливки металлов включает разрезной ролик с промежуточными опорами, корпуса которых смонтированы на раме, а также источник направленного излучения, оптический отражатель и приемник излучения. Устройство снабжено закрытым кожухом, расположенным на раме параллельно ролику, внутри кожуха по продольной оси с торца установлен источник направленного излучения, причем корпус промежуточной опоры смонтирован с зазором на корпусе рамы с возможностью перемещения и крепится к раме при помощи тяг во внутрь кожуха, на одной из которых установлен приемник излучателя. В следующем варианте устройства источник направленного излучения снабжен формирователем светового потока в виде плосковыпуклой линзы, а отражатель выполнен в виде сферического вогнутого зеркала. Изобретение предназначено для применения на действующих и вновь сооружаемых установках непрерывной разливки металлов.The invention relates to metallurgy, and more specifically to installations for the continuous casting of metals, equipped in the secondary cooling zone with split rollers with intermediate supports. The technical effect of the use of the invention is to improve the accuracy of determining the boundaries of the defective areas of the ingots and reduce metal losses. This technical effect is achieved by the fact that the device for continuous casting of metals includes a split roller with intermediate supports, the shells of which are mounted on the frame, as well as a source of directional radiation, an optical reflector and a radiation receiver. The device is equipped with a closed casing located on the frame parallel to the roller, inside the casing a directional radiation source is installed along the longitudinal axis from the end, and the intermediate support casing is mounted with a gap on the frame casing and can be attached to the frame with the help of which set the receiver emitter. In the following embodiment of the device, the directional radiation source is provided with a shaper of the light flux in the form of a convex lens, and the reflector is made in the form of a spherical concave mirror. The invention is intended for use in existing and newly constructed plants for continuous casting of metals.
