Устройство содержит корпус с проточным каналом и закрепленную внутри корпуса трубку приема воздушного давления. Проточный канал корпуса выполнен состоящим из конфузорной, цилиндрической и диффузорной частей. Трубка приема воздушного давления закреплена в диффузорной части проточного канала таким образом, что приемник статического давления расположен напротив цилиндрической части канала.
