Сущность изобретения: горелка сначала выводится в предварительный режим работы с сжиганием топливовоздушной смеси, по составу близкой к стехиометрическому, при содержании в продуктах сгорания кислорода в диапазоне 0,2 - 2,0%. В этом режиме фиксируют содержание окислов азота в продуктах сгорания, а затем увеличивают подачу воздуха через горелку, фиксируют последний при повторном получении упомянутого значения выхода окислов азота.
