Abstract
Multilayer thermal insulation is made of alternating layers of heat-insulating materials and metal reflective layers, which on the heat flux side have a golden color. The use of golden-colored reflective layers reduces the heat transfer coefficient in comparison with reflective layers of aluminum foil by at least 4 times.
Description
A utility model - multilayer thermal insulation belongs to the field of thermal protection and can be used for thermal insulation of pipes with a coolant, heating devices such as water heaters and in all cases where the goal is to minimize heat loss.
Multilayer thermal insulation containing insulating layers in combination with aluminum foil are known (1). The analogue includes porous layers, for example, of polyethylene foam, made in the form of a pipeline, the outer and inner surfaces of which are made of aluminum foil.
к. (адрес в Интернете: izofol@ udmnet). The analog does not indicate the value of the coefficient of thermal conductivity. However, Izhevsk Plastics Plant produces the same heat-insulating material Isolon and Isofol. For an isolon, the thermal conductivity coefficient is λ = 0.032 W / m.k. (Internet address: izofol @ udmnet).
The disadvantage of an analogue is the relatively high coefficient of thermal conductivity.
As a prototype (2) taken multilayer thermal insulation made of alternating layers of heat-insulating material and metal (aluminum) foil. The disadvantage of the prototype is the same as the analogue - a relatively high heat transfer coefficient.
The purpose of the utility model is to reduce the heat transfer coefficient. The goal is achieved in that the reflecting metal layers on the side of the heat flux have a golden color.
Figure 1 shows the standard sample used to measure the coefficient of thermal conductivity on the device KIT-02C. The sample consists of three layers: 1 - a cardboard layer 0.8 mm thick; 2 - a golden reflective layer of dacron film with a golden layer sprayed on it with a thickness of 6 ... 8 μm (Eurofoil AB-220 foil, article number ER 1212019443); 3 - a layer of foamed polyurethane. The direction of the heat flux is shown by the arrow. The golden reflective layer is positioned so that the heat flux falls on the golden reflective layer. Two types of samples were studied, differing from each other by a metal reflecting layer: in the first case, a metallic reflecting layer of golden color was used, in the second, a reflecting layer of aluminum foil 0.08 mm thick. The table shows the experimental results. As follows from the table, the use of a metallic reflective layer of golden color allows to reduce the thermal conductivity by 4.3 times.
