Abstract

A fume hood is designed to work in chemical laboratories when carrying out work requiring the use of exhaust ventilation. The cabinet includes a working chamber (1), a table (2), a countertop (3). Description

A fume hood is designed to work in chemical laboratories during work involving toxic gases and requiring exhaust ventilation.

Known modular laboratory complex, which includes a fume hood modular design. A fume hood consists of a working chamber and a base. The working chamber is divided by vertical partitions into sections. Each section has its own duct. The opening of the working chamber of each section is blocked by a screen consisting of two overlapping parts:

lower - movable, upper - motionless. The lower part of the screen has openings for the hands, passing from the outside into the corrugated tubes. In the lower part of the vertical partition and / or side wall there is a technological window in the form of a vestibule lock with two curtains that are movable in the direction from left to right. The countertop of the working chamber of each section has a side around the entire perimeter. The worktop of the cooking chamber is also the worktop of the base. A fume hood is made of separate modular elements interconnected by a locking bolt connection. A fume hood of this design minimizes the harmful effects on humans when working with volatile and highly dangerous toxic substances, ensures

several studies at the same time, but its design is difficult to manufacture and install.

The closest analogue is a fume hood SHUV-1. A fume hood is a block metal structure consisting of a working chamber and a two-sided working table. The working chamber is equipped with an exhaust pipe, which is connected to the ventilation network, and local fluorescent lighting. Taps for hot and cold water, as well as a fitting for gas supply, are fixed on the rear wall of the working chamber. The front of the camera is covered by a transparent screen balanced by counterweights. In the lower front of the camera there is a removable console with hatches and arm ruffles. The double-sided work table consists of a countertop made of stainless steel and two curbstones. The countertop has an opening for a drain device. The control panel is located on the front side of the table. An electrical panel is mounted in the left cabinet, and shelves for laboratory equipment in the right. On the roof of the cabinet there are two hooks for mooring the rope during transportation.

A fume hood is convenient for working in chemical laboratories, but inconvenient for mobile laboratories. The cabinet is bulky and heavy in weight, which makes transportation and commissioning difficult.

The technical result of the claimed utility model is to reduce the occupied volume during transportation (the disassembled table freely enters the working chamber), as well as

in increasing the rigidity of the structure, which allowed the use of thinner sheets of metal, thereby reducing weight.

The claimed technical result is achieved in that in a fume hood including a working chamber with a transparent screen balanced by a counterweight, an exhaust pipe, a device for supplying water and gas, a table with a countertop having a drain hole in which, according to the invention, the inner and outer frames rigidly fixed from the inside along the perimeter of the upper edge of the table and the lower edge of the working chamber, respectively, and the frames are located in the same plane with the possibility of connection with detachable fasteners and in the working and transport position, and installing on them a removable worktop in the working position. In the transport position, the table is turned upside down by 180 °, and the working chamber is lowered onto it until the outer frame is placed in the same plane as the inner one and connected with detachable fasteners. The countertop is made with flanges up on the side and back sides, down along the facade. Detachable fasteners are made in the form of a bolted connection or in the form of a stud with a welded corner and a bolt or in the form of a stepped form and bolts.

The inventive hood consists of a working chamber 1 and a table-curbstone 2 (hereinafter referred to as a table) with doors and a removable tabletop 3, which is simultaneously the top of the working chamber 1 and table 2. The working chamber has an exhaust pipe 4, which is mounted on the top cover 5. Top cover 5 is removable. The camera window is closed by a screen 6, consisting of an upper fixed part and a lower movable part, which overlaps the upper one when it is raised. The lower part is made transparent and balanced by weights located on the outside of the back wall. A device for supplying water and gas (not shown in the diagram) is mounted on removable / swivel brackets inside the working chamber 1. The lighting lamp (not shown in the diagram) is fixed on the inside of the top cover 5, and a bactericidal lamp can be fixed if necessary. On the inner side around the perimeter of the lower edge of the working chamber 1 is rigidly fixed to the frame 7 - the outer one, made of a profile pipe. On the inner side of the table 2 around the perimeter of the upper edge of the frame is rigidly fixed frame 8 - the inner, also made of profile pipe. On the front panel of the table in its upper part there is a control unit 9 with light switches and an automatic power off switch. Inside the table 2 can be fixed shelf removable for chemical dishes. In the upper part of table 2, a sink is fixed (not shown in the drawing). The countertop 3 is removable, with flanges up on two side and rear sides, and along the facade - down with the possibility of installation on

frames 6, 7. In the countertop 3 above the sink a hole with a lid for a drain is made (not shown in the drawing).

In the working and transport position, the outer frame 7 of the working chamber 1 and the inner frame 8 of the table 2, located in the same plane, are interconnected using detachable fasteners 10. The fasteners 10 can be made in the form of a bolted connection (figure 3) or in the form of a stud with a welded corner and a bolt (Fig. 4) or in the form of a stepped bracket molds and bolts (figure 5).

Figure 3 shows the fastener 10 in the form of a bolt 11. Between the frames 6, 7, an annular gasket 12 is installed.

Figure 4 shows the fastener 10, including a stud 13 which is rigidly attached to one of the edges of the corner 14, and a bolt 15.

Figure 5 shows the fastener 10, consisting of a bracket 16 of a stepped shape, a bolt 17 and a bolt 18.

To bring the hood into working condition, we install the working chamber 1 on the table 2. For this, we install gaskets 12 between the frames 7, 8 and connect them with bolts 11 (Fig. 3).

To connect the frame 7 of the working chamber 1 and the frame 8 of the table 2, you can also use the fastener 10 in figure 4. To do this, on the frame 8 we fix the studs 13 to the corners 14, put the frame 7 and fix it with bolts 15. To connect the frame 7 of the working chamber 1 and the frame 8 of the table 2, you can also use the fastener 10 in figure 5. We put the brackets 16 on the frame 8, then connect the brackets 16 to the frame 8 with bolts 17, put the frame 7 on the brackets 16 and connect the brackets 16 to the frame 7 with bolts 18. In the simplest case, the bolts 15, 17, 18 can be replaced with ordinary screws or rivets.

After connecting the working chamber 1 to the table 2, insert the countertop 3.

For transportation, we remove the countertop 3, disconnect the fasteners 10, remove the working chamber 1 from the table 2.

We turn table 2 upside down and lower the working chamber 1 onto table 2. We connect the working chamber 1 with table 2 with fasteners 10.

The working chamber 1 is made of a single sheet of stainless steel, and the screen is made of plexiglass. For the manufacture of table 2, chipboard, metal, polypropylene, monolithic plastic, and others can also be used, the screen is made of shockproof triplex glass. A combination of these materials is possible. If necessary, the side walls of the working chamber 1 can be made of plexiglass, shockproof glass triplex, etc.

The advantage of the inventive fume hood compared with the prototype is that it takes up two times less volume during transportation, and the use of a material of smaller thickness reduces the weight of the product and the metal consumption, without compromising performance. The cabinet is mobile and simple to manufacture and disassemble.
