Abstract

The proposed utility model relates to household furniture, namely to sanitary equipment installed in bathrooms. The technical result achieved by the implementation of the proposed utility model is to increase the moisture resistance of the construction of the cabinet, and as a result, increase its active service life without major repairs, as well as reliable protection of the cabinet against scratching it by household items. The specified technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the cabinet under the washbasin containing two side walls of particleboard material (chipboard), two doors of chipboard, each of which is mechanically coupled by means of door hinges to the side wall closest to it and mounted for rotation relative to it, in contrast to the known technical solutions, the cabinet also includes an upper front panel made of chipboard installed above the doors, on which a wash basin was installed together with the side walls On the side of the door, on the side walls, doors and the upper front panel, glass plates are fixed on their outer side from their outer side, and aluminum profiles are fixed to the side of the doors and the upper front panel of each side wall.

The specified sanitary cabinet contains side walls, doors and transverse connections, while the transverse connection connecting the lower front parts of the side walls of the cabinet is removable, and the height, width and length of the cabinet are correlated as (8-10) × (5-6) × (6-7). However, such a sanitary stand is poorly resistant to moisture. Since the material used for its manufacture is not equipped with any special “devices” for protecting “the main structural elements from moisture penetration into them, such cabinets are short-lived in operation. Currently, there are many different designs of washbasin stands, each of which has its positive and negative technical features. The classic version of the washbasin cabinet is the cabinet installed in any Moscow apartment built in the 70-80s. Such curbstones, for the most part, with minor stylistic modifications, contain two side walls that are associated with them and hinged two doors, as well as lower and upper panels, respectively restricting the side walls and doors from below and from above, and a through hole is made in the center of the upper panel for installation of a washbasin. As the material of the side walls, doors, lower and upper panels, extruded chipboards, faced with a thin sheet of plywood painted on its front side, are usually used. Any of the washbasin cabinets described above can be adopted as a prototype of the technical solution disclosed in this application.

The principal drawback of the above washbasin cabinets as well as the above sanitary washbasin cabinets according to RU 13048 U1 is their poor adaptability to resist moisture. During several years of operation of the washbasin due to the inevitable leakage of water, moisture penetrates into the pores of the particleboard sheets, as a result of which they are saturated with moisture, swell, rot and finally collapse. Therefore, the cabinets in question require periodic overhaul by replacing their individual constituent elements.

Thus, the technical problem to which the proposed utility model is aimed is to increase the moisture resistance of the construction of the cabinet, and as a result, increase its active service life

The proposed cabinet under the washbasin includes two side walls 1 made of chipboard, and two doors 2 made also of chipboard. Aluminum profiles 7, mounted on the side doors 2 and the upper front panel 4, on the sides of each of the side walls 1, also protect these side walls 1 from moisture on their surface. Since aluminum, which does not rust in conditions of high humidity, is much more technologically advanced in processing than glass, unlike the latter, it is easy to cut narrow, even stripes (about 1.5 ÷ 2 cm) from it, which can potentially be tightly closed moisture the sides of the side walls 1.

The proposed washbasin cabinet is simple and technological to manufacture. It is made on the basis of the widespread standard structural elements - chipboard and can easily be implemented in large-scale serial production.
