Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the beneficiation of minerals and can be used in the flotation of phosphate ores.
The composition of the reagent mixture for flotation of non-sulfide ores is known (patent RU No. 2675641, published on December 21, 2018), containing 50-99 wt.% of a mixture of fatty acids and 1-50 wt.% of an N-acyl derivative of sarcosine.
The disadvantage of the above mixture is the high dosage, as well as the relatively low degree of extraction of P 2 O 5 (wt.%) during apatite flotation. These disadvantages are associated with the presence in large quantities of fatty acids in the mixture that do not have selectivity, as well as the lack of specific interactions between the components of the mixture, ensuring increased adsorption and increased selectivity.
The composition of the reagent mixture for apatite flotation is known (patent RU No. 2079376, published on May 20, 1997), containing 29.0-31.7 wt.% distilled tall oil, 29.5-31.6 wt.% crude tall oil, 14 .8-15.0 wt.% secondary oil tar and 24.0-25.0 wt.% fish oil acid.
The disadvantage of the mixture is the presence of a large amount of fatty acids, tall oil and fish oil, which impairs the effectiveness of the mixture at high pH values, low temperatures and increased water hardness.
C17-C20. The composition of the reagent mixture for flotation of phosphorus-containing ores is known (patent SU No. 876173, published 1981.10.30), containing 5-9 wt.% carboxylic acids of fractions C 6 -C 11 , 5.5 wt.% myristic acid, 13.6 wt. .% palmitic acid, 31.2 wt.% sulfinated oleic and linoleic acid, 13.1 wt.% stearic acid, 15.2 wt.% arachidic acid and 12.4-16.4 wt.% unidentified acid fractions C 17 -C 20 .
The disadvantage of the mixture is the low yield of the flotation product and the relatively low content of P 2 O 5 wt.% due to the low activity of the components of cabonic acids at elevated pH, as well as the competitive sorption of sulfinated molecules and carboxylic acid molecules on the apatite surface, which prevents the formation of an optimal hydrophobic layer.
М. Influence of operating parameters on the flotation of the Khibiny Apatite-Nepheline Deposits. – Журнал “Journal of Materials Research and Technology”. 8. The composition of the mixture is known (Elbendari A.M. et al. Influence of operating parameters on the flotation of the Khibiny Apatite-Nepheline Deposits. - Journal of Materials Research and Technology. - Issue 8. - N 6, 2019, p. 5080-5090), containing 10 wt.% distilled tall oil, 20 wt.% softwood crude tall oil, 30 wt.% hardwood tall oil, 5 wt.% alkylbenzenesulfonic acid, 35 wt.% Phospholan PE169, a reagent representing is a mixture of mono- and diethoxylated alkyl esters of phosphoric acid.
Phospholan PE65. The disadvantage of the mixture is the low degree of extraction of P 2 O 5 wt.% into the flotation product. This disadvantage is associated with the low efficiency of the fatty acid components in combination with alkylbenzenesulfonic acid and ethoxylated alkyl esters of phosphoric acid Phospholan PE65.
The composition of the mixture is known (Balandinsky D.A. et al. Physico-chemical features of the use of ethoxylated esters of phosphoric acids in the composition of anionic surfactants to increase flotation extraction of apatite. - Abstracts of the XVIII International Forum-Competition of Students and Young Scientists. Volume 1. “Relevant problems of subsoil use." - Volume 1. - 2022. - P. 221-223), adopted as a prototype containing 40.0% wt. Phosphola-6 and 60.0% wt. sodium oleate.
The disadvantage of the mixture is the low degree of extraction of P 2 O 5 wt.% into the foam product. This drawback is associated with the insufficient efficiency of intermolecular interactions between sodium oleate and Phosphol-6 molecules.
The technical result is to increase the degree of extraction of P 2 O 5 wt.% into the flotation product.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that sodium oleate and Phospho-6 are used in the form of saponified solutions, and the mixture additionally contains a saponified solution of the product of phospholation of neonol AF-2 with phosphorus pentoxide - Phospho-2 and a saponified solution of di-2-ethylhexyl phosphate ester - D2EHPA , with the following mass ratio of components, wt.%:
The claimed composition for increasing the degree of extraction of P 2 O 5 % wt. The flotation product includes the following reagents and commercial products containing them:
- Д2ЭГФК от 10,01 до 11,99, в соответствии с ТУ 2435-259-05763458-98;- D2EGFK from 10.01 to 11.99, in accordance with TU 2435-259-05763458-98;
- Фосфол-6 от 20,01 до 24,99, в соответствии с ТУ У 24.1-13429874-004-2002;- Phosphol-6 from 20.01 to 24.99, in accordance with TU U 24.1-13429874-004-2002;
- Фосфол-2 от 20,01 до 24,99, в соответствии с ТУ У 24.1-13429874-004-2002;- Phosphol-2 from 20.01 to 24.99, in accordance with TU U 24.1-13429874-004-2002;
20.14.33-004-51240208-2018.- Sodium oleate rest, in accordance with TU 20.14.33-004-51240208-2018.
Sodium oleate as a component of the fatty acid class, providing hydrophobization of the apatite surface and improving foam characteristics.
Phosphol-6 and Phosphol-4 are the products of phosphorylation of neonol AF-6 and neonol AF-4, respectively, by phosphorus pentoxide. The phosphoryl group provides increased affinity for calcium ions in the apatite crystal lattice, which increases the selectivity of the component, and differences in the degree of ethoxylation contribute to increased lateral interactions between radicals, which leads to increased hydrophobicity of the surface
D2EHPA is a di-2-ethylhexyl ester of phosphoric acid, due to the shorter length of the hydrocarbon radical, in comparison with other components, it ensures the dispersion of molecular associates of long-chain surfactants in solution, thereby facilitating a more uniform coating of the apatite surface with the components of the mixture.
Each component of the collecting mixture was placed in a reactor and subjected to saponification by adding an equivalent amount of sodium hydroxide until pH = 8 at 80 o C. At this pH value and temperature, surfactants are completely converted into anionic form by interaction with NaOH.
Then each saponified component of the collection mixture was added to a 1-liter volumetric flask and diluted with water until a concentration of 1 wt. %, which were placed in a stirrer, were constantly stirred for at least 5 minutes at room temperature until the medium was homogeneous. After this, all components in specified mass proportions were mixed in the reactor until homogeneous.
