Description
The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used to improve the tribological characteristics of lubricants.
Known composition of the ultrafine composition for the formation of an anti-friction coating on contacting rubbing surfaces, containing the following components, wt. %: lanthanum oxide 0.1-3.0; zinc oxide 0.5-1.0; triethanolamine 0.01-0.1; titanium dioxide 1.0-4.0; magnesium oxide 43.0; silicon dioxide 44.1; iron oxide 0.1-0.2; nickel oxide 0.1-0.3; water not more than 5.3; while using a mixture of dispersed-ordered composition with a particle size of 10-100 nm in mineral oil (patent RU 2421547, IPC C23C 26/00, 2011).
However, the disadvantage of the known composition is the complexity of its preparation due to the need to use a hydrodynamic cavitation device to obtain a mixture of a dispersed-ordered composition in mineral oil, and then a nitriding process for cracking triethanolamine, which ensures the formation of nitrides and lanthanides during the formation of an anti-friction coating.
Known anti-friction lubricant for friction units based on lithium soap of stearic acid and mineral oil, while it additionally contains polyethylene wax and a suspension of potassium titanate in the following ratio, wt.%: lithium soap of stearic acid 5.0-12.0; polyethylene wax 1.0-7.0; suspension of potassium titanate 1.0-15.0; mineral oil - the rest is up to 100%, and the potassium titanate suspension has the following composition (wt.%): potassium titanate powder 60.1-70.0; mineral oil - the rest up to 100% (patent RU 2524267; IPC C 10M 169/00, C10M 125/04, C01G 23/00, C10N 30/06; 2014).
However, a disadvantage of the known lubricant is insufficiently high tribological characteristics, in particular, the large diameter of the wear scar.
%: мел 10-15, бура 10-15, каолин 5-20, дисульфид молибдена 5-10, нитрид бора 5-15, серпентин остальное (патент RU 2680414; МПК С10М 113/08, С10М 125/00, С10М 125/10, С10М 125/26, F16C 33/00, C10N 30/06; 2019 год) (прототип).The closest to the proposed technical solution is a tribological composition containing a fine mixture of natural minerals, includes serpentine, chalk, borax and kaolin, according to the invention, the dispersion of the particles of the mixture is 1-2 microns, and additionally contains molybdenum disulfide and boron nitride in the following ratio of components, wt. %: chalk 10-15, borax 10-15, kaolin 5-20, molybdenum disulfide 5-10, boron nitride 5-15, serpentine the rest 10, С10М 125/26, F16C 33/00, C10N 30/06; 2019) (prototype).
However, a disadvantage of the known composition is the low tribotechnical characteristics (wear scar diameter is 0.753 mm, the welding load is 250 kgf).
Thus, the authors were faced with the task of developing a tribological composition that provides high tribotechnical characteristics, namely, an increase in the welding load and a decrease in the diameter of the wear scar.
Поставленная задача решена в предлагаемом трибологическом составе, содержащем мелкодисперсную смесь природных минералов, включающую серпентин, мел, буру и каолин, в котором в мелкодисперсную смесь, дополнительно содержащую тальк, добавлена смесь связующего - синтетического масла и диспергатора, в качестве которого использована меламиноформальдегидная анионактивная смола, при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:The problem is solved in the proposed tribological composition containing a finely dispersed mixture of natural minerals, including serpentine, chalk, borax and kaolin, in which a mixture of a binder - synthetic oil and a dispersant, which is used as an anionic melamine-formaldehyde resin, is added to the finely dispersed mixture, additionally containing talc, with the following ratio of components, wt.%:
At present, a tribological composition is not known from the patent and scientific and technical literature, containing, along with a mixture of natural minerals, a mixture of a binder - synthetic oil and a dispersant, which is used as a melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin, within the declared limits of the content of the components.
In the course of research conducted by the authors, it was found that a significant improvement in the tribotechnical characteristics of the antifriction composition can be achieved by using a suspension with fine particles of natural minerals evenly distributed in it, the uniform distribution of which is ensured by the presence of a dispersant, for which the authors propose the use of melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin . Melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin is a polycondensation product of melamine with formaldehyde, neutralized with sodium hydroxide, which, after neutralization, is included in the product in the form of sodium sulfanilate. The principle of operation of the dispersant in the proposed technical solution is based on the following: molecules of melamine, formaldehyde and sodium alkali after chemical interaction processes (polycondensation + neutralization) form micelles (particles consisting of several molecules or their radicals), which are always in suspension - form a liquid . The structure of the micelles contains a sodium ion, which is part of the alkali after neutralization of melamine with formaldehyde. In a mixture of natural minerals included in the tribological composition, there is borax - sodium tetraborate containing a sodium ion, that is, an ion common with a micelle. In addition, there is a mixture containing magnesium, calcium and aluminum ions, similar in physicochemical properties to sodium. As a result, particles of a mixture of natural minerals settle on the micelles of the dispersant, which contributes to their uniform distribution in the medium of the binder - synthetic oil. Tests on a friction machine of only the liquid part of the mixture (a mixture of natural materials and a dispersant) gave the result - an increase in the welding load by more than 400%. In this case, the content of the dispersant is essential. So the introduction of the dispersant in an amount of less than 1.70 wt.% is not enough to improve the tribotechnical characteristics. The introduction of a dispersant in an amount of more than 1.89 wt.% causes an increase in the viscosity of the composition and a decrease in tribological characteristics. The additional introduction of talc, a mineral of a subclass of layered materials, which is a strengthening agent, into the composition of natural minerals prevents sticking and sticking of the particles of the mixture.
Получают дисперсно-упорядоченную композицию с размером частиц 1-2 мкм при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:The proposed tribological composition can be obtained as follows. Previously, natural minerals included in the tribological composition are subjected to separate grinding to the required fineness of 1-2 microns using ball mills. After thorough mixing, melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin is added to the resulting mixture in the required amount and thoroughly mixed again. The resulting liquid phase is introduced into the binder - synthetic oil by mechanical dispersion for one hour at a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius. A dispersion-ordered composition is obtained with a particle size of 1-2 μm in the following ratio of components, wt.%:
The resulting tribological composition was tested on a four-ball friction machine CMT - 1 with a ball diameter of 12.7 mm according to GOST 3722-81 made of steel ШХ-15 according to GOST 801-78 in laboratory No. 1 of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the tests, the following tribotechnical characteristics were determined: wear index D and (wear scar diameter); welding load R with according to GOST 9490-75. The determination of the indicator D and was carried out at a load P equal to 20 kgf.
Obtaining the proposed tribological composition is illustrated by the following examples.
Separately crushed to a dispersion of 1-2 microns natural materials included in the tribological composition: 1 g of chalk, 1 g of borax, 1.5 g of kaolin, 1.5 g of talc, 5 g of serpentine. Get a mixture of natural minerals by thorough mixing and add 17 g of melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin brand MF-AP, which is a transparent thick yellowish liquid. To the resulting suspension was added 973 g of General Motors 5W-30 Dexos2 synthetic engine oil. A tribological composition is obtained with the following ratio of components, wt.%: chalk - 0.10, borax - 0.10, kaolin - 0.15, talc - 0.15, serpentine - 0.50, melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin - 1.70, synthetic oil - 97.3.
The resulting composition has the following tribotechnical characteristics: D and (wear scar diameter) is 0.302 mm; welding load P s - more than 1000 kgf.
Separately crushed to a dispersion of 1-2 microns natural materials included in the tribological composition: 1 g of chalk, 1 g of borax, 1.5 g of kaolin, 1.5 g of talc, 5 g of serpentine. A mixture of natural minerals is obtained by thorough mixing and 17 g of anionic melamine-formaldehyde resin of the MF-AR brand is added, which is a transparent thick yellowish liquid. To the resulting suspension was added 873 g of General Motors 5W-30 Dexos2 synthetic engine oil. A tribological composition is obtained with the following ratio of components, wt.%: chalk - 0.11, borax - 0.11, kaolin - 0.17, talc - 0.17, serpentine - 0.55, melamine-formaldehyde anionic resin -1.89, synthetic oil - 97.
The resulting composition has the following tribotechnical characteristics: D and (wear scar diameter) is 0.310 mm; the welding load P c is 600 kgf.
Thus, the authors propose a tribological composition with significantly improved tribological characteristics, namely, an increased welding load and a small wear scar diameter.
