Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedics, and can be used for the prevention and treatment of various types of flat feet in children and adolescents.
Flat feet in children and adolescents is one of the most common disorders of the musculoskeletal system when foot changes occur. The consequences of this disease can be very unpleasant in the future, therefore, special attention is currently being paid to the prevention and treatment of flat feet in the early stages, because the sooner you identify it and begin treatment, the better.
A device for the prevention of flat feet in children (patent RU No. 125842, publ. 20.03.2013), in which the toe is made in the form of a knitted pipe with a slot in the heel, and the corrector is made in the form of a section of the toe adjacent to the side surface of the forefoot knitted with a relief pattern to obtain protrusions massaging the foot.
The disadvantage of this device is that the embossed surface is only at the midfoot, and the heel and forefoot remain without any impact, as well as insufficient functionality: the foot does not receive a full effective massage, there is no effect of walking on an uneven surface, which It involves the work of the arch-forming muscles, there is no cushioning function, and the product is very light, which does not allow the lower leg muscles to be used.
Another disadvantage of this device is that it is intended only for the prevention of flat feet in children, and it cannot be used to treat flat feet.
20.04.2003).For the treatment of flatfoot, an orthopedic article is used that contains a foot-shaped skeleton, in which the skeleton is made in the form of a thin-sheet spatial figure of elastic material, the middle part of which has a saddle shape, the longitudinal sectional sections of the skeleton have, mainly, the shape of an irregular sinusoid with a maximum of of the middle part of the lifting of the foot, the cross-sections forming in the heel and middle parts of the frame are C-shaped, and in the toe part - the shape of an irregular sinusoid with amplitude, the thickness of the plate, with the edges of the frame along the perimeter curved upwards, and the thickness of the frame in the main part is in the range of 0.3-6 mm with a gradual decrease to zero at the extreme points of the frame outline at a width of 5-20% of the length of the frame section generatrices ( RU No. 28821, published on 04/20/2003).
However, this product may not be useful for the prevention and treatment of pediatric and adolescent flat feet, because plays the role of insoles for shoes and acts on the foot for a limited amount of time, only at the moment the foot comes in contact with the shoes, especially since the children are very mobile and such insoles cannot be used during the game or at home.
Known orthopedic shoes for the treatment of flat feet (RU No. 109959, publ. 10.11.2011), which contains the top with a bilateral high hard berets, mounts for the foot, orthopedic insole and sole. The supporting surface of the sole is made in the form of a longitudinal step and occupies the outer half of the sole. The supporting surface of the sole has a calcaneal bevel, a recess in the gel part and a plantar roll in the anterior section. The height of the step relative to the length of the sole in the area of the calcaneal tuber is 12-14% of the length of the sole. In the area of the head of the fifth metatarsal bone, the step height relative to the sole length is from 9 to 11%. Orthopedic shoes according to patent RU No. 109959 can be made individually for orthopedists in prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises, in shoe shops at orthopedic and pediatric salons, in enterprises producing shoes in small batches, which makes such shoes expensive and fetters movement when playing or walking, in addition such shoes cannot be used to prevent flat feet in children and adolescents.
However, the main disadvantage of orthopedic shoes in the treatment of flat feet in children and adolescents is the rigid fixation of the foot, as a result, the underdevelopment of the arch-forming muscles and ligaments and the shift of the jerking function from the toes and heads of the metatarsal bones to the center of the foot, which has an adverse effect on the natural formation of the arch of the foot. In addition, rigid fixation limits the work of the arch-forming elements of the foot (ligaments, bones, muscles) and does not perform a shock-absorbing function, which is greatly reduced with flat feet, which affects the knee, hip joints and all overlying sections of the spine, also this utility model does not provide massage function .
The objective of the proposed solution is to increase the effectiveness of the complex effects on the foot, in order to prevent and treat various types of flat feet in children and adolescents.
The problem is solved by the fact that a universal orthopedic product for the prevention and treatment of flat feet in children and adolescents, made in the form of a short stocking (hereinafter referred to as the “orthocox”), the main elements of which are the orthopedic sole, the toe, the heel and the calf with reliable fixation around the lower leg are proposed. The sole, made in the form of a foot corrector, consisting of several layers: the outer layer, the filler, the fixing layer and the inner layer, which acts as the insole.
In FIG. 1 shows a general view of an orthopedic product, and FIG. 2 orthopedic sole.
1).The proposed orthopedic product is universal, it is intended for the prevention and treatment of flat feet at any age, especially in children and adolescents who have problems of the musculoskeletal system, and is made in the form of a short stocking (hereinafter referred to as the “orthopedic”) whose main elements are the orthopedic sole 1 made in the form of a foot corrector and consisting of several layers: the
All elements in direct contact with the child’s foot are made of cotton material, which ensures the hypoallergenicity of the product during operation and the comfort of wearing the orthonos.
Consider the impact of an orthopedic product for its intended purpose.
The product is worn on the foot, walking or doing exercise therapy.
When walking, when the heel touches the floor, the product, due to the compression of the
Further, the inertia of the step goes to the forefoot and the fingers go down a little more than usual - this includes longer and short finger flexors, the little finger flexor, which initiates the push with the fingers, as when walking on loose sand. When pushing, metatarsal bones are also unloaded.
Further, when the foot moves in the air due to the weight of the device, the leg muscles are more actively stimulated than with the usual step, and due to the fact that the toes have to be removed from a lower position than usual, short and long extensors of the fingers and little finger are trained, and also smaller foot muscles.
Due to the strengthening of the muscles of the foot, both hyperpronation and hypersupination of the arches of the foot are reduced. A physiological arch is formed. The correct roll of the foot from the heel to the toe is formed when walking, the jogging function from the middle part of the foot, which is observed with flat feet, is leaving.
Due to the fact that the
The main advantage of the proposed technical solution is that orthosocks with a filler in the form of elastic round elements provide the effect of walking on an uneven surface and include the arch-forming muscles of the foot, perform a shock-absorbing function, unloading the heads of the metatarsal and calcaneus bones, thereby unloading the entire spine and taking self, reduced with flat feet, spring function of the foot, massage function, which improves blood circulation, nutrition of ligaments and muscles, due to which the correct q feet. Massage function also activates the reflex points of the feet, which has a general beneficial effect on the body, including the child’s immunity. The device has a certain weight, which allows you to turn on the muscles of the leg and complexly influence the formation of the correct setting of the foot and its arches. Due to the properties of the material from which it is made, the filler does not compress, does not deform, and does not move, does not fall to one end, because fixed and placed between the outer layer sewn through and through and the fixing layer, which allows the orthopedic product to be used for a long time. In addition, the orthopedic product is affordable and easy to wash.
таблицу 2).It has been experimentally confirmed that by increasing the effectiveness of the complex effect on the foot, in order to prevent and treat various types of flat feet in children and adolescents, after 3 months of daily use of the device for 2-4 hours a day, the first positive results can be observed (see table 2 )
