Abstract
Description
The invention relates to military equipment and can be used in the development and production of special artillery ammunition reconnaissance.
When creating artillery reconnaissance systems using reconnaissance shells, it is necessary to determine the direction of the projectile in relation to the point of the shot using optical instruments mounted directly on the shell. This task is very difficult, because the projectile flies along a curved path and rotates at high speed.
The author proposes a reconnaissance system using reconnaissance shells made in the form of cluster shells containing several measuring modules. In this technical solution, in accordance with the patent (RF) for the invention No. 2669690, the modules on the falling part of the projectile path are ejected from the shell body in the form of cartridges and are dropped to the ground using stabilizing parachute systems. However, at the same time, the optical module continues to rotate and it is not possible to determine the position of the module relative to the earth coordinates in a particular photograph. To fix the terrain shown in the photograph taken with such a module, the invention according to patent No. 2669690 proposes to consider the position of the image of the cassette shell in each picture, which after ejecting the modules continues to move along a path whose direction coincides with the direction of the shot.
In order to improve the accuracy and resolution of the method for registering an image of a moving shell of a projectile, this technical solution proposes to create a luminous trail along the path of the motion of this shell, which remains behind the projectile for a time sufficient to be fixed by photo-optical devices.
This is achieved due to the fact that after the ejection of the cartridges from the shell of the shell in the head part (inside the shell) of the shell under the influence of the temperature of the expelling charge, an incendiary charge is ignited. The expelling charge is ignited due to the action of a remote fuse, which is located in the bow of the projectile and fires at a given point in time when the projectile falls on the falling part of the trajectory.
The burning incendiary charge due to the expansion of the burning substance will create excessive pressure in the combustion zone (the head of the projectile), under the influence of which particles of the burning (luminous) substance will be released into the zone of lower pressure, namely, into the zone of the bottom of the shell of the projectile through an opening in the bottom of the projectile outward (discharge behind the projectile!), and thereby create a luminous trail behind the flying shell of the projectile. At the same time, the linear dimensions of the flying system “shell of the shell — particles of the substance of the incendiary charge” will be many times larger than the size of the shell of the shell and will be confidently fixed using the optics of the reconnaissance system modules.
The proposed technical solution is illustrated in the figure (Fig. 1). FIG. 1. The head part of a cassette shell with knock-out and incendiary charges: 1 - remote fuse, 2 - incendiary charge, 3, 4 - elements of the shell of the knockout charge, 5 - shell of the shell, 6 - combustible material of the knockout charge, 7 - shell shells, 8 - the direction of emission of particles of the substance of the incendiary projectile.
As the substance of the incendiary charge can be used materials used for similar purposes in tracer ammunition. Recipes of compositions, especially compositions of the white track, are often very similar to recipes for lighting compositions. Mandatory components of any modern tracer composition are oxidizing agent, fuel and binder. The following oxidizing agents are most commonly used: for the white route, Ba (NO 3 ) 2 and BaO 2 ; for the red line, Sr (NO 3 ) 2 , and also sometimes SrO 2 ; for the yellow trail, barium or strontium nitrate is used in combination with sodium salts - sodium oxalate or borax (Shidlovsky AA Fundamentals of pyrotechnics. M., "Mechanical Engineering", 1973.). The light intensity from the above compositions, depending on the size and color of the track, ranges from two to ten thousand candles. Such illumination of the projectile trajectory is confidently detected by modern photo-optics.
Thus, the proposed technical solution allows using photo-optics to confidently register the trajectory of the movement of the shells of cluster artillery shells on the falling part of the trajectory of movement.
