Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of fluid dynamics, in particular to methods for assessing the effectiveness of the hydrodynamic resistance of hydrocarbon fluids, and can be used to create hydrodynamic stands for studying hydrocarbon fluids and testing additives to them that reduce hydrodynamic resistance.
Drag reduction fundamentals // AIChE Journal. V. 21. №4. 1975. Pp.625-656]. Это явление, называемое эффектом Томса, применяется на практике, в частности, для увеличения пропускной способности нефтепроводов [Burger Е.D., Munk W.R. and Wahl Н.A. Flow increase in the Trans Alaska Pipeline through use of a polymeric drag reducing additive // Journal of Petroleum Technology. V. 34. №2. 1982. Pp. 377-386], а сами агенты снижения сопротивления называют противотурбулентными присадками (ПТП).It is known from the prior art that solutions of certain polymers and surfactants have a drag coefficient lower in comparison with a pure solvent in a turbulent flow regime [Virk P.S. Drag reduction fundamentals // AIChE Journal. V. 21. No. 4. 1975. Pp. 625-656]. This phenomenon, called the Toms effect, is used in practice, in particular, to increase the throughput of oil pipelines [Burger E.D., Munk W.R. and Wahl N.A. Flow increase in the Trans Alaska Pipeline through use of a polymeric drag reducing additive // Journal of Petroleum Technology. V. 34. No. 2. 1982. Pp. 377-386], and the agents themselves reduce resistance called anti-turbulent additives (PTP).
Poreh, "Heat transfer in flows with drag reduction," Advances in Heat Transfer, vol. 12, pp. 77-113, 1976).The literature also notes that when the temperature of the liquid in the pipeline exceeds the ambient temperature, at the same time as the resistance (DR, Drag Reduction) decreases, the heat transfer coefficient (HTR, Heat Transfer Reduction) decreases, with DR and HTR being comparable in magnitude (Y. Dimant and M. Poreh, "Heat transfer in flows with drag reduction," Advances in Heat Transfer, vol. 12, pp. 77-113, 1976).
Gasljevic, and Е.F. Matthys, "Coupling between heat and momentum transfer mechanisms for dragreducing polymer and surfactant solutions," Journal of Heat Transfer, vol. 121, no. 4, pp. 796-802, 1999). It is also noted that HTR is even slightly larger than DR (G. Aguilar, K. Gasljevic, and E.F. Matthys, "Coupling between heat and momentum transfer mechanisms for dragreducing polymer and surfactant solutions," Journal of Heat Transfer, vol. 121, no. 4, pp. 796-802, 1999). DR and HTR are dimensionless and are expressed as a percentage.
To evaluate the effectiveness of PTP, loop-type laboratory measuring stands are used, where hydrocarbon fluid circulates through the measuring section under the influence of a pump. The magnitude of the effect of reducing resistance (DR) is determined by the formula
где ΔР - перепад давления на измерительном участке, Q - расход жидкости, индексы p и s относятся к раствору и растворителю соответственно.where ΔР is the pressure drop across the measuring section, Q is the fluid flow rate, the indices p and s refer to the solution and solvent, respectively.
[Jabir Shanshool, Marwa F. Abdul Jabbar and Izzat N. Slaiman «The influence of mechanical effects on degradation of polyisobutylenes as drag reducing agents», Petroleum & Coal, 53 (3), 2011, p. 218-222].To determine DR, as follows from formula (1), it is necessary to know the pressure drop and flow rate for a “clean” hydrocarbon liquid and hydrocarbon liquid with an anti-TB agent introduced into it. Therefore, the laboratory measuring stand must be equipped with pressure sensors and a flow meter [Jabir Shanshool, Marwa F. Abdul Jabbar and Izzat N. Slaiman “The influence of mechanical effects on degradation of polyisobutylenes as drag reducing agents”, Petroleum & Coal, 53 (3 ), 2011, p. 218-222].
However, such a bench is not suitable for the study of heavy oil, since for the implementation of the turbulent mode of its flow in laboratory conditions, the bench must be equipped with a heating system. Since in real practice heated pipelines are used for heating oil pipelines, temperature studies at laboratory stands are of direct practical interest.
20.04.2015).For temperature studies of hydrocarbon fluids, a hydrodynamic test bench for testing anti-turbulent additives is known, which implements a method for evaluating the effectiveness of anti-turbulent additives, characterized in that the hydrocarbon liquid is pumped through the measuring section, providing a turbulent flow of the hydrocarbon liquid, and a temperature sensor monitors the temperature flowing through the measuring section of the hydrocarbon liquid, after setting the set temperature an anti-turbulent additive is introduced into it and a temperature change is measured, and differential pressure sensors measure the pressure drop of the liquid in a turbulent flow mode, while using a flow meter located at the outlet of the measuring section, the volumetric flow rate of the hydrocarbon liquid is measured, and the results of the measured data determine the magnitude of the reduction in hydrodynamic resistance after the introduction of PTP into the liquid according to the formula (1) and build the curve of the dependence of sn zheniya hydrodynamic resistance of time for different values of the temperature of the liquid hydrocarbon (RF patent for utility model RU 151 950 U1, publication date 20.04.2015).
A disadvantage of the known method is that the traditional measurement of the DR value according to the formula (1) is associated with a large variation in the readings of the pressure sensors, which are located at a small distance from the pump in the loop type installation and register the pulsations generated by the volume type pump.
The technical problem to be solved by the claimed invention is aimed at creating a method for evaluating the effectiveness of an anti-turbulent additive by changing the temperature drop at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section of a hydraulic measuring stand.
(DR).The technical result of the invention is to simplify the process of conducting research to determine the magnitude of the reduction in hydraulic resistance (DR).
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the method for evaluating the effectiveness of an anti-turbulent additive, measurements are carried out on a hydraulic bench that provides a turbulent flow regime of a hydrocarbon liquid and includes a measuring section, at the inlet and outlet of which temperature sensors are installed, while the hydrocarbon liquid circulates through the measuring section, fixing its temperature at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, after which an anti-turbulent additive is introduced into the circulating hydrocarbon liquid, fixing its temperature at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, and the magnitude of the decrease in resistance (DR) by the temperature difference in the measuring section is calculated by the formula
где А - экспериментально определяемая константа;where A is an experimentally determined constant;
ΔТ0 - перепад температуры углеводородной жидкости (нефти/ нефтепродукта) без противотурбулетной присадки на входе и выходе измерительного участка, °С;ΔТ 0 - temperature difference of a hydrocarbon liquid (oil / oil product) without anti-turbulent additives at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, ° С;
ΔТp - перепад температуры углеводородной жидкости (нефти/ нефтепродукта) с введенной противотурбулентной присадкой на входе и выходе измерительного участка, °С;ΔТ p is the temperature difference of the hydrocarbon liquid (oil / oil product) with the added anti-turbulent additive at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, ° С;
причем в процессе циркуляции углеводородную жидкость подогревают или охлаждают с тем, чтобы ее температура отличалась от температуры окружающей среды.moreover, in the process of circulation, the hydrocarbon liquid is heated or cooled so that its temperature is different from the ambient temperature.
Thus, using the temperature difference in the measuring section to estimate the value of resistance reduction (DR), accuracy comparable with the accuracy in calculating DR using the pressure differential is ensured, while significantly simplifying the design of the hydraulic stand due to the absence of the need for mounting pressure sensors.
In FIG. 1 is a diagram of a hydraulic bench for conducting a hydraulic resistance test; FIG. Figure 2 shows a graph of the magnitude of the reduction in hydraulic resistance (DR) as a function of the duration of the circulation of oil containing PTP.
6.For the implementation of the proposed method, a hydrodynamic bench for testing anti-turbulent additives can be used, the scheme of which is shown in FIG. 1 and comprising a
The method is implemented as follows
A hydrocarbon liquid, for example, oil, is poured into a
The hydrocarbon liquid in the
Then start the operation of the
1.1.After measurements, the hydrocarbon liquid is drained from the
According to the results of the measured data, the magnitude of the decrease in the hydrodynamic resistance after the introduction of PTP into the liquid is determined and a curve is built of the dependence of the decrease in hydrodynamic resistance on the circulation time at various temperatures of the hydrocarbon liquid. The claimed device allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-turbulent additives at various temperature conditions.
In this case, the simultaneous registration of the DR value and the relative change in the temperature difference in experiments with heated oil showed their unambiguous correspondence to each other (Fig. 2, the green line is calculated from the pressure drop and flow rate; the red line is calculated from the temperature difference), which allows us to calculate the constant A in formula (2), despite the fact that the scatter of data on the relative change in temperature is much less than the relative scatter of pressure values. This makes it possible to determine the value of DR by the temperature difference in the measuring section of the pipeline
где А - экспериментально определяемая константа;where A is an experimentally determined constant;
ΔТ0 - перепад температуры углеводородной жидкости (нефти/нефтепродукта) без противотурбулентной присадки на входе и выходе измерительного участка, °С;ΔТ 0 - temperature difference of a hydrocarbon liquid (oil / oil product) without anti-turbulent additives at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, ° С;
ΔТр - перепад температуры углеводородной жидкости (нефти/нефтепродукта) с введенной противотурбулентной присадкой на входе и выходе измерительного участка, °С.ΔТр is the temperature drop of a hydrocarbon liquid (oil / oil product) with an added anti-turbulent additive at the inlet and outlet of the measuring section, ° С.
Thus, when measuring the temperature drop, the accuracy of determining the magnitude of the decrease in hydraulic resistance is not lost in comparison with the method of measuring the pressure drop, but the design of the hydraulic bench for research is greatly simplified by eliminating the need for pressure sensors.
