Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, namely to livestock, is intended for use in the industry of beekeeping.
Ascospherosis bee brood disease is considered one of the most common and dangerous infections for bees, from which apiaries suffer significant damage.
[6].A sharp decrease in the immune status of bees on the background of the ecological disadvantage of apiaries, the massive use of pesticides leads to the spread of diseases in various combinations previously encountered in isolated cases [6].
[2, 3, 7].Often, the uncontrolled and unreasonable use of chemical preparations and ineffective antibiotics in beekeeping provokes the development of more resistant fungal (Ascosphaera apis) and viral diseases of bees [2, 3, 7].
[4].The use of chemical means to combat bee diseases in most cases causes pollution of bee products. A special danger to human health is the remains of chemical preparations that have fallen into medical treatment. In this regard, in recent years, when developing methods for combating bee diseases, they began to pay attention to substances of plant origin [4].
The aim of the invention is a method for treating bee colonies with a prophylactic based on environmentally friendly drugs in order to increase the resistance and productivity of bee colonies.
The closest analogues to the claimed one on the basis of essential features and adopted for the prototype are: the drug "Bee" (Journal "Beekeeping, 2001 - No. 3), which includes natural coniferous extract and garlic oil, is a vitamin-mineral complex. It has a fungicidal effect. The disadvantages include low therapeutic and prophylactic activity, the death of ascospherosis is not higher than 40% and also exceeds our developed drug by 5 times the cost.
The addition of a 5% iodine solution enhances the antimicrobial effect and the processes of dissimilation (decomposition of complex organic substances into simpler ones), favorably affects lipid and protein metabolism. The use of this combination during preventive treatments of bee colonies has not been previously recorded, which meets the criterion of "novelty."
With a combination of garlic and 5% iodine solution, the fungicidal effect of this solution increases to 90%. This conclusion is based on research during laboratory tests.
The essence of the method and its novelty lies in the use of a prophylactic agent for treating bee colonies against fungal diseases, including ascospherosis, the agent is obtained from the following components: alcohol 5% iodine solution in an amount of 5 ml is dissolved in a 1.5 liter aqueous extract of garlic with the active substance allicin. The resulting solution by aerosol spraying process all surfaces in the nest of the bee family in the spring at a rate of 200 ml per family.
The main active ingredient of this drug is allicin, which has an antimicrobial and antifungal effect, which is confirmed by laboratory studies on the growth of Askosphere Apis fungus. When processed with this combination of natural ingredients, the growth of this fungus is prevented.
Ф. (1987).Example. To test the effectiveness of this drug, field trials were carried out according to the method of V. Malkov. (1985) and laboratory studies according to the method of Grobova O.F. (1987).
The treatment of bee families in the experimental group during field studies was carried out by irrigation in the spring after the formation of the experimental groups, covering with a solution of both bees, bee frames, and the hive.
80%.In the course of laboratory studies, an insignificant manifestation of the growth of colonies in the treated Petri dish was revealed in the amount of 5%, while in the untreated Petri dish there was a continuous growth of the fungus over 80%.
После проведения обработки в опытной группе наличие следов аскосфероза практически не наблюдалось (2,1%), в контрольной группе эти признаки присутствовали в количестве 25,9% (таблица).During field studies, the growth rates of bee colonies were analyzed, as well as one of the main criteria - honey productivity of bee colonies. After treatment in the experimental group, the presence of traces of ascospherosis was practically not observed (2.1%), in the control group, these signs were present in an amount of 25.9% (table).
Due to a decrease in the percentage of bee brood damage, there is an increase in the mass of the bee family by the main honey collection by 48.7 hundred bees.
Увеличение количества пчел к главному медосбору привело соответственно к повышению медовой продуктивности (фиг.).An increase in the number of bees to the main honey collection led accordingly to an increase in honey productivity (Fig.).
The main criterion for assessing the effectiveness of the use of this drug is honey productivity. Families from the experimental group brought 13.8 kg more honey products in comparison with the group of bee families that did not undergo processing.
When determining the economic efficiency of the studies, all the costs associated with the maintenance and care of bee colonies were taken into account, including the cost of carbohydrate and protein feed, transportation costs and costs for the beekeeper. In these studies, feed consumption was taken into account only in winter, the remaining feed honey remained for spring development. Queen bees were not purchased on purpose, but queen bred in the apiary were used.
The introduction of new technological elements that reduce production costs and lower the cost of production, leads to an increase in production profit and, consequently, an increase in the level of profitability.
72,0%.The use of a prophylactic drug in the first spring inspection of bee colonies leads to a decrease in the presence of ascospherosis and a decrease in the percentage of death of bees in the spring-summer period, due to which there was an increase in marketable honey products to 42.0 kg and a production cost of 1 kg of honey decreased to 124.7 ruble. Thus, the profitability of honey production in this group was 114.7%, while in the control group, where processing was not carried out, the profitability level was 72.0%.
Thus, the use of the resulting preparation, consisting of natural components, has a beneficial effect on the safety of bee colonies, preventing the spread of ascospherosis, and leads to an increase in the strength of the family and its honey productivity.
