Abstract
Description
The invention relates to animal husbandry and is aimed at increasing the reproductive ability of cows.
Every year, tens of thousands of new chemical compounds are produced in the world that come into contact with living organisms, invading their metabolic processes. So, for example, heavy metals take the second place (after pesticides) among the main environmental pollutants. Their concentrations in the biosphere are 30-60 times higher than the background level [1]. Long-term exposure of harmful chemicals to the body even at maximum permissible concentrations, their penetration into the internal environment leads to a violation of adaptive, barrier-detoxification and excretory systems, which is accompanied by the accumulation of toxic compounds in organs and tissues, and this significantly increases the risk of developing disorders of normal biochemical processes and biological foundations of life.
[2].Lead and cadmium are considered especially toxic among heavy metals. It has been proved that prolonged contact during pregnancy with harmful chemicals, even of subthreshold values, leads to damage to the fetoplacental complex and in-utero maladaptive processes are formed, which are subsequently realized in pathological conditions directly associated with disturbances in mineral metabolism [2].
[3].The fact of the penetration of lead through the placenta and its accumulation in the bones, heart, liver, kidneys and lungs of the fetus has been established, which provides a high risk of already intrauterine organ damage and subsequently the risk of developing diseases [3].
[4].A study of various biosubstrates taken from the fetus during pregnancy due to congenital abnormalities or stillbirths indicates that various xenobiotics, including high concentrations of toxic metals, were found in the mother and fetus. This poses a direct risk of population impairment of reproductive health and the risk of perinatal losses [4].
An analysis of modern literature has shown that, with the development of effective treatment methods in toxicology and obstetrics, the use of sorbents to reduce the toxic load on the body and the reproductive function of the uterine livestock of cattle is extremely relevant.
A known method of increasing the reproductive ability of cattle using sapropel as a stimulator of the reproductive function of cows. Sapropel was introduced into the diet of cows in an amount of 3% by weight of dry matter throughout lactation. Mineral and biologically active substances contained in sapropels determined the activation of physiological processes in the animal organism, promoted a more complete assimilation of nutrients in the main diet. The inclusion of sapropelic feed additives in the diets of livestock allowed to improve the activity of the hematopoietic and circulatory systems, the stomach, as a result of which the incidence decreased, and resistance to adverse environmental influences increased. Sapropel has a stimulating effect on the reproductive system of cows, while large-fruited, multi-fertility, and the safety of young animals increases.
[5].A known method of increasing the reproductive ability of cattle using sapropel as a stimulator of the reproductive function of cows. Sapropel was introduced into the diet of cows in an amount of 3% by weight of dry matter throughout lactation [5].
Animals receiving sapropel in their diets were distinguished by good appetite and great fatness, which led both to an increase in the yield of meat and dairy products per unit of feed, and to an improvement in the reproductive function of cows.
However, the disadvantage of feeding sapropel for a long time without a break is a violation of the processes of cicatricial digestion, which is manifested in an increase in the pH of the chyme, a shift in the fermentation processes towards the formation of butyric acid, worsening conditions for the existence of microflora and a decrease in the synthesis of microbial protein.
[6-8].Studies by a number of scientists have established that the introduction of 0.8-1 kg of sapropel into the diet of animals per head per day during the dry period and the milking period stimulates earlier puberty and the manifestation of puberty, increases fertility, and large-fruited. Sapropel contributes to an increase in the primary and at various stages of maturation of the follicles in the ovaries of cows due to the presence of hormone-like substances in it that affect the sexual function of animals. The authors claim that natural sapropel contains mainly estrogenic hormone-like substances and gonadotrophic hormones [6-8].
[9].A known method of increasing the reproductive ability of cattle using as a stimulant sapropel in the amount of 1.5 kg per head per day, gradually increasing the dosage to 3 kg. The disadvantage of this method is the deterioration of feed intake due to the one-time supply of a large amount of sapropel. At the same time, a significant part of sapropel and succulent fodder remains uneaten in the feeder. The animal does not receive the necessary amount of nutrients and energy, which entails a failure in energy, protein, carbohydrate and mineral metabolism [9].
д.To implement the proposed method, an experiment was conducted on the basis of LLC Agrofirma Industrialnaya of the Orenburg region of the Orenburg region on micropopulations of black and white cows (n = 40). The age of the cows is 3-5 years. Live weight - 485 ± 22.3 kg. Milk productivity for the period of a lactation (305 days) - 6345 ± 19.8 liters. The selection of animals for research was carried out in two stages. At the first stage, on the basis of the analysis of the case logs and insemination of cows for the last three years preceding the experiment, individuals (n = 63) with low reproductive qualities were selected. Animals were evaluated by the length of the inter-hotel period, the service period, the number of doses spent on one fruitful insemination, the output of calves, etc.
The criterion for the selection of animals at the second stage was the revealed excess of the norm for the concentration of lead and cadmium in wool. As it turned out, among the micropopulations of cows with low reproductive qualities, identified during the implementation of the first stage of selection, 40 goals (63.5%) were characterized by an excess of the allowable concentration of lead and cadmium in the wool. Based on the level of concentration of these elements in the wool according to the method of pair-analogues, animals were divided into two groups: control (n = 20) and experimental (n = 20). The difference was that the individuals of the experimental group in the diet received a sorbent of heavy metals and radionuclides "Bifézh" in a dose of 45 g per 1 head per day for 60 days before the start of a random company. Animals of the control group received the main diet without additives.
[10].The sorbent of heavy metals and radionuclides "Bitezh" is a cellulose-inorganic composition obtained by precipitation of iron-potassium ferrocyanides on a cellulose carrier [10].
The diet of experimental animals in the two-month period preceding the selection of wool samples consisted of grass of grass forbs (timothy grass meadow, meadow fescue, bonfire) and concentrated feed (barley, wheat). The daily diet consumed by the cows contained Ca - 111.2 g, P - 79.8 g, Mg - 24.3 g, K - 110.7 g, S - 34.4 g, Fe - 1371.8 mg, Cu - 150.1 mg, Zn - 1055.4 mg, Co - 11.2 mg, Mn - 1021.8 mg, I - 13.8 mg, Pb - 14.14 mg, Cd - 0.796 mg. Heifer - Ca - 13.7 g, P - 9.2 g, S - 5.0 g, Fe - 112.4 mg, Cu - 17.1 mg, Zn - 59.2 mg, Mn - 87.4 mg , Co - 1.1 mg, I - 0.6 mg.
Wool sampling was carried out according to the existing method [11] at the beginning and end of the experiment.
Москва (Registration Certificate of ISO 9001: 2000, Number 4017 - 05.04.06). [12-14].The elemental composition of biosubstrates was studied using 6 chemical elements (Ca, Cu, Zn, Se, Cd, Pb), atomic emission and mass spectrometry (AES-ICP and MS-ICP) in the testing laboratory of ANO "Center for Biotic Medicine", g Moscow (Registration Certificate of ISO 9001: 2000, Number 4017 - 04/05/06). Biosubstrate ashing was carried out using the MD-2000 microwave decomposition system (USA). The content of elements in the resulting ash was estimated using an Elan 9000 mass spectrometer (Perkin Elmer, USA) and an Optima 2000 V atomic emission spectrometer (Perkin Elmer, USA). The choice of these elements is due to the high degree of their influence on the reproductive ability of the animal organism [12-14].
[15].The values of the concentration of chemical elements of animal hair obtained during the experiment were compared with centile intervals accepted as the norm (25-75 centiles), obtained earlier when conducting species studies [15].
Для обработки данных использовали пакет прикладных программ Statistica 10.0 («Stat Soft Inc.», США).To test the hypothesis about the normality of the distribution of other quantitative characteristics, the Shapiro-Wilk test was used. In calculating the mean values and as a measure of the central trend, the median (Me) was used. The distribution law of the studied numerical indicators differed from normal, therefore, the significance of the differences was checked using the Mann-Whitney U-test. In all statistical analysis procedures, the achieved significance level (p) was calculated, while the critical significance level in this study was assumed to be less than or equal to 0.05. For data processing, we used the Statistica 10.0 application package (Stat Soft Inc., USA).
5%.The results of the analysis of wool when put on the test showed the presence of deviations above the established norm of the average values of the concentration of lead (3.3 times) and cadmium (47.4%). Considering the presence of antagonistic relationships between these elements and some essential and macroelements, a characteristic feature of these animals was a lowered calcium concentration relative to the norm - by 7.2%; copper - by 11.4; selenium - by 10.4 and zinc - by 5%.
1).Towards the end of experimental feeding, it was found that the introduction of the Bifézh sorbent of heavy metals and radionuclides into the ration of experimental animals at a dose of 45 g per 1 head per day for 60 days preceding insemination made it possible to reduce the exchange pool with respect to the moment of experimentation. lead by 3.6 times, cadmium - by 56.1%. At the same time, the average values of calcium concentrations increased by 26.1%, copper - by 27.9; selenium - by 57.3 and zinc - by 13.6% and for 97% of the animals of the experimental group, the limits of permissible values were entered (Table 1).
3).Changes in the coat of animals of the control group were statistically unreliable and characterized as hypoelementosis (Table 2), which negatively affected their reproductive function, as evidenced by the results of evaluating their reproductive ability. So, the fertility of the cows of the control group was lower than the corresponding indicator for the cows from the experimental by 20%, while the interbody period was higher by 10.9%; service period - by 21.5%, in calves, the experimental group outstripped the control by 25% (Table 3).
The above research results allow us to conclude that the use of the sorbent of heavy metals and radionuclides "Bitezh", which lowers the level of the exchange concentration of lead and cadmium in the 60-day period preceding insemination (random company), contributes to the normalization of mineral metabolism in the body and increases the reproductive ability of productive cows.
Thus, on the basis of our studies, we have proposed a method for increasing the reproductive ability of cows based on the introduction of a sorbent of heavy metals and radionuclides "Bitezh" at a dose of 45 g per 1 head per day for 60 days. The claimed method meets the condition of patentability of the invention of "novelty." Analysis of other methods in this area did not reveal signs similar to the claimed solution, which allows us to conclude that the condition "inventive step" is met. The invention is applicable, as it can be used in animal husbandry while increasing the reproductive ability of cows.
