Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, and in particular to compositions of sintered antifriction materials that can be used in mechanical engineering.
[1].Known sintered antifriction material based on cobalt containing, by weight. %: palladium 5.0-7.0; titanium carbide 3.0-7.0; solid lubricant 10.0-20.0; cobalt - the rest [1].
The objective of the invention is to increase the wear resistance of the material at elevated temperatures.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that the sintered anti-friction material based on cobalt, including palladium, titanium carbide, molybdenum disulfide, additionally contains platinum in the following ratio of components, wt. %: palladium 3.0-4.0; titanium carbide 5.0-7.0; molybdenum disulfide 1.0-2.0; platinum 3.0-4.0; cobalt is the rest.
The table shows the compositions of the sintered anti-friction material based on cobalt.
In the composition of the sintered material based on cobalt, the components manifest themselves as follows. Molybdenum disulfide slightly reduces the strength of the material, but is necessary to ensure its wear resistance, acts as a solid lubricant and prevents the formation of burrs during friction. Palladium and platinum improve the metal base of the material, contribute to the preservation of hardness at elevated temperatures, and prevent the occurrence and development of cracks under mechanical stress. Titanium carbide somewhat reduces the strength of the material, but increases its wear resistance.
The material is obtained by pressing at a pressure of 3.5 t / cm 2 a mixture of the powders of the components into products of the desired shape and subsequent sintering in an atmosphere of inert gases or vacuum.
