The invention relates to equipment for tying stacks (roots) of banknotes stacked in bundles, and can be used, in particular, in a bank system.

A device for banding the roots of cash tickets is known, comprising a housing, a tape drive with a roll holder, a feed channel and a sensor with an obturator disk for determining the length of the tape, a loop forming unit with a table, a welding mechanism with a welding head, a knife for cutting the tape and drive mechanisms, a loop forming unit is made in the form of a loop-shaped channel bounded by the walls, the little table for the spine is cantilevered inside it, the welding mechanism is equipped with a mechanical transmission for the reciprocating movement and a pair of clamps and is placed in the housing, the knife for cutting the tape installed in the housing of the welding mechanism, the roll holder is made in the form of a tray and placed in the upper part of the housing above the loop forming channel, the welding mechanism is placed in the housing directly under the table of the loop forming unit and equipped a software strip with a linear displacement sensor associated with the control unit (RU 2166466 C2, 05/10/2001).

Its disadvantage is the fact that it does not provide the possibility of banding piles or bundles of banknotes using a prefabricated annular strapping material, such as office gum. This leads to poor device performance. The principle on which it is based is to ensure the complex movement of the tape, which during the banding process forms a loop, subsequently tightened, after which the tape is cut off. A complex reversible tape drive mechanism is designed for this. An accurate reading of the length of the tape is necessary, for which an obturator mechanism is intended. In addition, a complicated tape welding mechanism is used. Thus, the device is very complex, not productive enough and provides banding of a stack of banknotes only with a welded, that is, plastic (e.g., polyethylene) tape.

Also known is a device for banding a stack of banknotes (RU 2226488 C1, 04/10/2004), which comprises a housing, a container with packaging material, means for supplying packaging material and an element for accommodating a stack of banknotes. The container with the packaging material is made in the form of a box-like structure, and the packaging material is made in the form of rings of tape, flattened and stacked inside the container into a stack. The means for supplying packaging material is made in the form of an element with a gripping body equipped with a mechanism for moving it; an element for placing a stack of banknotes is configured to deform a stack of banknotes relative to its longitudinal axis and is equipped with a position sensor for a stack of banknotes associated with the mechanism for moving the element of banknotes. In this case, an element for accommodating a stack of banknotes and a container with packaging material in the form of rings of tape are mounted on the housing relative to each other so that the stack of banknotes after its deformation enters the ring fed from the container. An element for placing a stack of banknotes can be made in the form of a tubular shell, tapering from the inlet to the outlet and having a side slot along its entire length, while the deformation of the stack of banknotes occurs as it moves along the tubular shell, and removal occurs through the side slot.

The disadvantage of this device is the inability to use stationery gum as a packaging material, as well as the complexity of the design. In addition, it is impossible to tie several roots of banknotes folded in a bundle.

The technical result achieved by the present invention is to simplify the design of the binding device and the possibility of using office gum to automatically tie bundles of banknotes.

The claimed technical result is achieved due to the fact that the device for tying banknotes contains a housing for accommodating the roots of banknotes, having slots on each wall, a groove in the lower part and comb ridges, the profile of which is formed by teeth and depressions, on one of the side walls of the housing for fixing office supplies elastic bands, as well as a movable bar with comb protrusions, the profile of which repeats the profile of the comb protrusions of the body with a half-step offset, and having the ability to move along the side wall to Pusa.

The device for tying banknotes contains a rectangular housing 1 corresponding to the shape of a stack of banknotes, for accommodating the roots of banknotes, a groove 2 in the lower part and comb ridges 3, the profile of which is formed by teeth and depressions, on one of the side walls of the housing. The movable bar 4 with comb protrusions 5, the profile of which follows the profile of the comb protrusions of the housing with a half-step offset, is also fixed to the side wall of the housing with the possibility of movement along it.

The device operates as follows. On the device body 1, using the groove 2 and the teeth of the comb protrusion 3, clerical gums 6 are sequentially fixed. Banknotes 7 are stacked in the body, after which the movable bar 4 is set in motion. The comb protrusions 5 of the movable bar 4 move vertically upward, moving the fixed rubber bands 6 one step in the profile of the comb protrusions 2 of the housing 1, thus, the gum closest to the pile of roots is loose and slides along the slots of the walls of the housing 1 onto the stack of banknotes 7, thereby tying it.

When stacking a new bundle of banknotes and moving the movable bar, the process repeats. After using all the rubber bands installed on the case, it is necessary to fix new rubber bands, the number of which is equal to the number of depressions on the comb protrusions of the case, after which it is possible to automatically tie an appropriate number of bundles of roots of notes.
