Description

The proposed technical solution relates to the clothing industry, in particular, to the technology of manufacturing an academic headgear.

The Confederate is a headgear that complements a set of academic clothes traditionally used in higher educational institutions at graduation ceremonies and in a number of other cases. The academic confederate has a rigid shape and consists of a square head, a band and a cord ending with a brush attached to the center or to the front corner of the head. A brush is an important element of academic vestment. The side on which the brush hangs determines the person’s degree, and the color of the brush, sometimes the color of the entire headgear, is the field of science in which the owner of the confederate specializes. The level of quality of the academic confederate depends on its design solution, the properties of the materials used and is determined by the conformity of aesthetic, informative and ergonomic requirements.

The disadvantages of the design of the academic confederate include the lack of the ability to control the size of the band for its snug fit to the head of people with adjacent sizes and a rigidly fixed volumetric shape, the forced change of which during transportation or storage can lead to a decrease in the quality of the headgear.

The objective of the proposed technical solution is to expand the model range and maintain the level of quality of the academic confederate in the conditions of its transportation and storage.

The problem is solved due to the transformable design of the academic confederate containing a removable band made of the main material and a soft gasket connected to the head of the academic headdress with hinged loops and buttons, while the ends of the band are closed in a ring using a velcro tape, which allows you to adjust the size of the bud according to the dimensional characteristics of the human head.
