SUBSTANCE: method relates to medicine, particularly to dermatology, and may be used in treating localised forms of psoriasis. That is ensured by administering 1% glutoxim 0.1 ml along the perimetre of a psoriasis patch at 1.0-1.5 cm once a day for 7-12 procedures.

EFFECT: effective treatment ensured by no side effects, and reduced length of treatment.

Description

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to dermatovenerology, and can be used in the treatment of localized forms of psoriasis.

With psoriasis, there is accelerated proliferation due to shortening of the cell cycle time of keratinocytes, impaired cell differentiation with incomplete keratinization and disturbances in the system of apoptosis. Known methods of treating psoriasis in which they use a systematic approach. (Vladimirova I.S., Monakhov K.N. There are methods of treating psoriasis using drugs that enhance keratinocyte apoptosis. The closest prototype of the proposed method is the method for the treatment of psoriasis described in patent No. 2218172, which consists in the intramuscular administration of glutoxim, in which detoxification, anti-inflammatory and external therapy are additionally used.

The proposed method as a prototype has the following disadvantages:

- not effective enough for the treatment of localized forms of psoriasis, due to the predominant distribution of glutoxim in the liver, kidneys, organs of immunogenesis and hematopoiesis and to a much smaller extent in pathologically altered skin;

- the duration of the course of treatment in total is 7 weeks;

- systemic administration of glutoxim is combined with external administration of other drugs;

The objective of the invention is to propose a method for the treatment of localized forms of psoriasis with the creation of a depot of a drug substance in a psoriatic plaque.

The technical result is achieved by the fact that 0.1 ml of a 1% solution of glutoxim, an immunomodulator that induces apoptosis of keratinocytes, is uniformly injected intradermally along the perimeter of psoriatic plaques at a distance of 1-1.5 cm. To reduce pain at the injection site, it is possible to use a local anesthetic, for example, Emla cream. The course of treatment is 7-12 procedures, depending on the area of the pathological process.

The advantage of the proposed method:

- a depot of the drug substance is created in the psoriatic plaque, which acts directly on the pathological focus;

- monotherapy with glutoxim is possible, which in turn reduces the frequency of adverse reactions;

- reduction of treatment time;

- can be used in outpatient practice.

The proposed method treated 47 patients with localized forms of psoriasis. All showed positive dynamics and regression of the pathological process.

A method of treating localized forms of psoriasis, consisting in the administration of glutoxim, characterized in that glutoxim is administered along the perimeter of the psoriatic plaque at a distance of 1.0-1.5 cm in 0.1 ml of a 1% solution of glutoxim once a day in a course of 7-12 procedures.
