Abstract

New drug for the treatment of psoriasis with active ingredient ursolic acid, extracted from the plant Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary), and the suitable excipients for the preparation of ointment. By this medicinal product, of local application, complete cure of the disease is achieved, without side-effects, that is maintained for a long time period, that most of times is counted to many years. There are patients that have completed more than 15 years from the day of their complete cure without recurrence. The time of cure of psoriasis with the present medicinal product depends on various factors; the most significant is the previous pharmacotherapies that the patient used. The present medicinal product with active ingredient ursolic acidis effective in all clinical forms of psoriasis (non pustular psoriasis and pustular psoriasis).
