Abstract

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: handle of a boot lid in a closed position is aflush with the rear outer surface of the boot lid or a door of the vehicle boot compartment, which prevents contamination of its inner surface. When opening the boot, the handle protrudes outside, and the driver touches its clean inner surface. When the lid closes, the handle, under action of a spring, returns into initial sunk position.

EFFECT: higher protection of driver's or passenger's hands against dust and dirt.

Description

The invention relates to vehicles, in particular to luggage compartments located at the rear of passenger cars, and can be used in their manufacture.

In modern cars, the back of the body includes a luggage compartment with a lockable lid connected to the body by means of hinges, which the driver opens from the cab with an opening handle located near the driver's seat, acting through the cable to the trunk lock, and this lid independently rises up under the influence of springs or gas-filled stops.

But it is necessary to close the specified cover manually, while hands often get dirty.

The claimed invention provides a handle structure for the luggage compartment, eliminated from this drawback.

The invention is illustrated using figures 1-4. Figure 1 shows a General view of the handle in the closed position. The essence of the technical solution is illustrated in figure 2, in which the specified handle is presented in the open position. The same item numbers are used throughout the description and in all drawings to refer to the same components and parts.

The handle of the lockable boot lid 1 is located at the bottom of the rear surface of the lid. For ease of use, it is shifted to the right relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. In the closed position, the handle is flush with the rear surface of the trunk lid, which prevents its inner surface from getting dirty. a seal located between the handle and the boot wall protects the inside of the handle from dirt, dust and moisture. In the closed position, the handle is held by a torsion spring (shown separately in figure 3) located on the axis 2.

When opening the trunk, the driver pulls the handle to open the trunk lock and at the same time, with another cable fixed on the same handle, overcoming the spring force, pushes the specified handle out through lever 4. Arrow a shows the direction of the cable. The handle rotates on its axis 2 and in the open position is fixed by the stopper 3.

Closing the trunk, the driver takes his hand on the clean inner surface of the handle and, pulling it down, slams the trunk lid. In this case, the rod brought out by one end through the lower end of the cover to the outside, acts on the stopper 3 by the second end, releasing the handle 1, and the spring brings it to its initial recessed position.

The lock and handle of the trunk can be controlled not only by a cable, but also electrically. In this case, instead of the handle, a button for opening the trunk lock is installed, and instead of cables, wires and coils of the lock solenoids and the luggage compartment handle are installed.

Cars are known in which the luggage compartment is combined with the passenger compartment. Such cars do not have a trunk lid, access to the trunk is through a separate door located in the rear end of the body, which opens manually up or to the side.

In cars with the tailgate opening to the side, the specified handle is extended by the action of the solenoid, which is triggered when the contacts in the circuit of its coil are closed, which occurs when the tailgate is opened; for the key itself, pulling the door is not recommended. The return of the handle to the closed position does not differ from the above.

For cars with a station wagon, hatchback, minivan, the tailgate opens upward, but does not rise under the action of springs or stops, but only keeps them in the open position. For these types of vehicles, the handle must be extended not only to close, but also to manually open the door. The design of such a trunk handle is shown in Fig.4. The handle also extends under the action of the solenoid that is triggered by turning the trunk lock release key.

The essence of the claimed invention lies in the fact that to protect the driver’s hands from dust and dirt when opening and closing the luggage compartment, a design of its handle is provided, recessed flush with the rear surface of the trunk lid, which prevents its inner surface from getting dirty. To open and close the luggage compartment, the specified handle extends outward and is fixed by a stopper; after closing the luggage compartment, it automatically returns to its original position.

The closest in technical essence to the claimed invention are the USSR author's certificate No. 962054 of 09/30/1982, B60R 5/04, B60R 7/04 and patent RU 2271297 C1 of 03/10/2006, B62D 25/08, ЕВВ 65/19, in which presents the design of the luggage compartment of the car and its locks.

The technical result of the claimed invention is to increase the consumer qualities of the car by protecting the driver’s hands from dust and dirt when opening and closing the trunk.

The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the design of the handle of the luggage compartment, recessed flush with the rear surface of the trunk lid, which does not allow its inner surface to get dirty, is provided. To open and close the luggage compartment, the specified handle extends outward and is fixed by a stopper; after closing the luggage compartment, it automatically returns to its original closed position.

Protection of the driver’s hands from dust and dirt when opening and closing the luggage compartment of the car consists in the use of a specially designed trunk grip recessed flush with the rear surface of the trunk lid, which prevents its inner surface from getting dirty. To open and close the luggage compartment, the specified handle extends outward and is fixed by a stopper; after closing the luggage compartment, it automatically returns to its original position.

New significant features of the claimed invention are:

- protection of the driver’s hands from dust and dirt when opening and closing the trunk;

- the use of the luggage compartment handle of a special design, flush with the rear surface of the trunk lid, which does not allow dirtying of its inner surface;

- to open and close the luggage compartment, the specified handle extends outward and is fixed by a stopper, after closing the trunk, it returns to its original position under the action of the spring.

These new significant features, together with the known ones, are necessary and sufficient to achieve a technical result in all cases to which the requested amount of legal protection applies.

The proposed technical solution is industrially applicable, has novelty, for a specialist it is not obvious from the prior art.

The trunk lid handle, characterized in that, in order to protect the driver’s hands from dust and dirt when opening and closing the luggage compartment, the flush position is flush with the rear outer surface of the trunk lid or the tailgate of the car, which prevents its inner surface from getting dirty, when opening the trunk, the handle extends outward, and the driver takes his hand on its clean inner surface, when the lid is slammed, the handle returns to its original recessed position by the action of a spring position.
