Abstract

FIELD: health, fire-prevention means.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to fire-prevention equipment, to facilities for prevention or retention of fire, in particular to sprinklers, and may be used in automatic installations of water and foam fire extinguishing. Technical objective of invention is provision of possibility for remote control and monitoring of sprinkler condition, i.e. determination of sprinkler actuation fact condition, and also monitoring of sprinkler readiness for operation. For this purpose sprinkler is equipped with normally closed contact group, which is connected to outlets of thermal heating element. Body of sprinkler contains stop valve, which is pressed through sealing disk spring, heat damaging sensitive element, which is connected with heat sensitive element, outlets of which are intended for connection with control power supply source.
EFFECT: remote control of sprinkler condition, permanent monitoring of sprinkler condition, and also monitoring of sprinkler readiness for operation.

Description

The invention relates to fire fighting equipment, to means for preventing or containing fire, in particular for irrigators. Sprinkler sprinkler is designed for use in automatic installations of water and foam fire extinguishing.

The sprinkler sprinkler, as a rule, consists of a housing, a shut-off valve, a socket for spraying liquid flowing from the outlet of the sprinkler, a heat-sensitive element that holds the shut-off valve of the sprinkler and operates when the set temperature is reached.

As a heat-sensitive element of the thermal lock, explosive elements are currently used - glass thermoballs.

The principle of operation of the sprinkler sprinkler is as follows. When the temperature in the area of the thermal lock reaches above its nominal operating temperature, the thermoball is destroyed, the shut-off valve drops out of the socket of the sprinkler body, and the water flow striking into the sprinkler socket is distributed over the protected area.

Closest to the proposed sprinkler sprinkler and chosen by us for the prototype is a sprinkler with a heat-sensitive flask according to US patent 6491110, IPC A62C 2/00. The flask is a closed hollow cylindrical glass shell filled with a liquid with a low boiling point, an electric heating coil placed in the shell, a negative electrode formed on the outer surface of the lower end of the shell and connected to the first end of the winding; a positive electrode located on the outer surface of the side wall of the shell and connected to the second end of the winding.

The disadvantages of the considered sprinkler should include the fact that it is impossible to control the state of both the sprinkler itself and the state of the electrical circuit, i.e. there is no principal possibility of remote determination of the fact of the sprinkler actuation, since in the design of the considered irrigator there are no elements of remote control that make it possible to unambiguously determine the fact of the activation of the irrigator.

The technical problem, the solution of which the proposed sprinkler is aimed, is to provide remote control and monitoring of the condition of the sprinkler, i.e. determination of the actuation of the sprinkler, as well as monitoring the readiness of the sprinkler to work.

This problem is solved in that a sprinkler sprinkler containing a housing in which a shut-off valve, a thermally decomposing sensing element connected to a heat-heating element, connected to a control power source, and equipped with a normally closed contact group connected to with the findings of the thermal element.

In accordance with claim 2 of the formula, the contact group is made in the form of a shut-off valve and a conical cup located between the shut-off valve and a thermally degradable sensing element.

In accordance with paragraph 3 of the formula, the landing surface of the conical cup has a shape identical to the shape of the cone of the shut-off valve.

The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a General view of the sprinkler sprinkler.

The sprinkler comprises a housing 1, in which a shut-off valve 2 is located, a sealing disc spring 3, pressing a shut-off valve 2, a heating element 4 with terminals 5 for connecting to a power source (not shown). Thermal heating element 4 covers a thermally decomposing sensing element 6, which presses the shut-off valve 2 and spring 3 against the housing 1 through the conical cup 7. The contact group 8 is formed by the shut-off valve 2 and the conical cup 7. The contact shut-off valve 2 and the conical cup 7 are attached to the sprinkler by the tightening force of the thermally decomposing element 6, which ensures the safety of the structure during operation in standby mode. The contact group, in addition to the specified execution, can be performed using other structural elements, such as contact washers, disk contacts, knife contacts, which should provide the functions of closing / opening the electrical control and control circuits.

The sprinkler sprinkler operates as follows. In standby mode, the current flowing through the electrical circuit of the sprinkler is insufficient to heat the heating element 4, which provides thermal destruction of the sensing element 6, to open the outlet of the sprinkler. This current is used to control the integrity of the control circuit and, accordingly, to indicate the state of the sprinkler (open / closed).

In the event of a fire and subsequent heat exposure to the sprinkler, the sensing element 6 is destroyed. Since the sensing element 6 is a device that fixes the sprinkler shut-off valve 2, the shut-off valve is ejected by the pressure of the water / air in the sprinkler system and the force of the sealing disc spring 3. 2 together with a conical cup 7, which leads to the opening of the outlet of the sprinkler and at the same time the opening of the contact group 8 of the control circuit, as a result is provided in ability to control irrigation response.

In addition to the above option, a forced method of opening the sprinkler to the moment of destruction of the sensing element 5 from a fire is possible. In case of earlier detection of fire (by means of an automatic fire alarm system, visually, etc.), it is possible to open the sprinkler by supplying through the control circuit a current significantly exceeding the current in standby mode, capable of heating the heating element 4 to values that allow the destruction of the sensitive element 6 and open the outlet of the sprinkler to supply the extinguishing agent and check the operation of the sprinkler when the contact group 8 is opened.

Thus, it is possible, firstly, to remotely control the state of the sprinkler; secondly, to constantly monitor the condition of the sprinkler, as well as to monitor the readiness of the sprinkler to work.

Claims (3)

1. Sprinkler sprinkler with a controlled start-up, comprising a housing in which a shut-off valve is pressed, pressed through a sealing disc spring, a thermally decomposing sensitive element connected to a thermal element, with leads for communication with a control power source, equipped with a normally closed contact group associated with the leads thermal element.
2. The sprinkler sprinkler according to claim 1, characterized in that the contact group is made in the form of a shut-off valve and a cone cup located between the shut-off valve and a thermally degradable sensing element.
3. Sprinkler sprinkler according to claim 2, characterized in that the landing surface of the conical cup has a shape identical to the shape of the conical sampling of the shutoff valve.
